It might be safe to say that we wasted 3 years of Harden's prime with Dwight here.

That year we went to the WCF skewed things so much because it tricked everyone into thinking we were better with Dwight when we were actually worse. I believe we had a higher win percentage when he was out that year.

I wonder who is the next player to change the position perhaps to benefit from the shift?

He obviously forgot to say "besides Ricky Rubio". I guess that's just assumed at this point.

Believe it or not, I see a lot similarities between Harden and Magic Johnson than the Steve Nash comparison :

    1. Tall for a point guard

    2. Obviously great at passing, but more tilted towards instinctive and creative, as opposed to safe but boring (such as John Stockton, Mark Jackson, CP3, etc.)

    3. Turnover prone; partly because of penchant for high-risk, high-reward passes

    4. Good or even great rebounder for their position

    5. Not a good defender

Barring few minor differences (e.g. Harden being a better scorer), I think James Harden is slowly morphing into Magic of our era.

Honestly, I wouldn't think that and didn't think that before, but you do make good points. My eyes are opened.

I say this a s a Harden fan, but I just never thought about comparing him to Magic Johnson. He is a monster on assists in this system.

Zach Lowe is cool. One of the few guys out there who calls a spade a spade with no hidden agenda.

Cubes OTOH has some hidden motive.

Harden is going to keep getting better the more experience he has in this role .

4 turnovers tonight . Also had 2 steals .I will take that every game from James . He was incredible tonight
