This remind me of his statement that he can know everything about nuclear arms in a few hours. Smartest guy in the world.

Trump also knows more about ISIS than the generals.

Not a good sign when someone who has no background like Trump opts out of the briefings. I like Presidents and leaders to actually be informed about situations over which they are making decisions.

I think the issue stems from BOTH RL and Trump seeing a 1000+ word article and cowering away from the massive amounts of reading(for them). Unfortunately one of them is our president.

Who in the world knows what information Obama got, whether it was good, or if he was paying attention? What i know is Obama was wrong about ISIS and was wrong about Russia (amongst a million other foreign policy issues). We will have to see if Trump makes better decisions. Personally i find stats on whether you attended a meeting or not stupid. Easy to fake and no idea what really goes on in the meeting.

Disrespecting the CIA could end really really well for our president elect.
It's not like they're very powerful in the modern surveillance state or anything. Nah.

Trump will probably put an oil executive, a former WWF ceo, or some other billionaire who finds intelligence to be useless in charge of the CIA and will make sure they stop working against the SVR (formerly the KGB) and start working for them.

This looks like Sammo Hung in a Golden Harvest production of Watermelon Man.

I know the power of the Internet is at my fingers to research the references you just made, but I prefer to scratch my head and listen to my neurons click, melt and then die as they short circuit....

Yeah, good luck to him with that. I've known some CIA folks and I don't think a neophyte can unplug every nook and cranny of that outfit in four years, never mind four months. This is a bad calculation by him and Bannon. I'll stand by that assessment.

In our post-truth world: this doesn't matter.

In a post-Obama world, what matters is for our new neophyte president to do his flipping homework.
