I asked this question to my friends after seeing that half ending fiasco that game. On a game winning field goal attempt, why would you not tell someone to "accidentally" jump the snap and dive into the kicker's knee head first like Sherman, hurting him enough so that he can't accurately kick the next try 15 yards closer? Honorable? No, of course not. But well within the rules and precedence that the NFL set.
Another bad ref call directly results in a TD for the Colts. They just have too much influence on the game.
LOL, well that's half of the 14 the defense usually gives up in the 4th quarter. Clearly Osweiler's fault though.
