Pretty soon Harden will be averaging 10 points, 20 assists, 10 rebounds a game...

and EG will be our highest average scorer.

 

I would honestly prefer that.

We are better when Gordon is scoring in bunches and Harden is racking up assist.

 

It's getting busy. What would you give for Tobias Harris? Wants out of SVG...that's what I got today (no, not from Ne) but from one agent.

SVG is losing his control in the locker room. Tobias is a stud.

 

It was nice not to see him last night. I get irritated with all his flopping.

 

Good win. Even when Dallas cut the lead to around 10, you never felt like the W could be in real danger. Rockets played it a little lazy, but they knew, they didn't have to go full speed this time. Mavs are trash and their downfall was just a matter of time.

Great too see how several of our guys can get hot all of sudden, like Ariza in the 3rd and Bev in the 4th.

 

A combination of both. I think the chemistry and genuine like between the two on the court is evident. Harden allways finds Gordon on the play when Gordon makes a curl cut towards the basket. The play to end the 3rd was another example after a great series of ball movement Harden had a wide open look but choose to find Gordon for the wide open left corner three which resulted in a beautiful splash. This team has genuine chemistry.

Last few wins have come on the back of impressive defensive efforts and staying form despite refs trying to take over against us

they finished 62-20 and lost 4-1 in the wcf. all were in their prime. I think you are way overrating our players. Ariza does not equal Shawn Marion who averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds as well as two blocks and steals with only 1.5 turnovers. amare averaged 26 and 9, I think you are forgetting just how dominant he was before his knee surgeries.

 

The fact remains. In the NBA playoffs teams will scout your offense which they can do something about and your defense which they cannot do much about. That's why defense wins.

 

The bench has been terrific. I now look forward to watching the second unit.

Gordon thriving as sixth man

Eric Gordon's streak of seven consecutive games with at least four made 3-pointers, the second longest in NBA history, ended Friday when he had three. But he has been on a roll since returning to his sixth-man role in the last 13 games.

Some of that could be from sharing the backcourt with Pat Beverley, who returned from his preseason injury and allowed Gordon to play off the ball as he has with James Harden

"I think Pat also really tries to find him," coach Mike D'Antoni said. "He really makes a point of it. He's good at it. I think it's mostly Eric settling into his role."​
