I'm really beginning to buy the theory that Brewer's got dirty info on everyone on the team, and all staff. So he wouldn't lose playing time This time the doctor's.
I bet Brew took him out to get piss drunk the night before, that way DMo doesn't study and fails his physical.
The Rockets obviously don't want him and I doubt he wants to be hear. Just let him go to the Nets. This is ridiculous now.
Motiejunas told to go home HOUSTON -- Houston Rockets officials are still awaiting medical information on power forward Donatas Motiejunas before allowing him to return to the team according to a source. On Friday, the Rockets signed Motiejunas to a four-year $31 million deal, ending a long process with the restricted free agent, who signed an offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets, only to have it matched by the Rockets. But Motiejunas refused to report for a physical forcing the Rockets to lift the offer sheet. Motiejuans took his physical on Friday in Houston and coach Mike D'Antoni said he expected Motieunas to be with the team on Saturday. "I was there but they told me to go home," Motiejuans said in a text message to ESPN. Two years ago, Motiejunas underwent two back procedures which has given teams pause regarding his long-term health. The Rockets traded Motiejunas to the Detroit Pistons for a first-round pick last year, but he failed a physical due to back concerns. Motiejunas returned to the Rockets after the trade was rescinded and started in 22 games. This offseason, Motiejuans was a restricted free agent and had few suitors due to his back issues. Motiejunas told ESPN he passed a series of tests with the Nets before signing his offer sheet last week.
This is a side show this team doesn't need right now, but since this drama has reached its peaked we have been on a roll so I dunno man
I'm thinking the same thing. At this point they can't possibly want to keep him. I feel like we maybe mended fences with the signing and giving him the incentives, but this probably puts the animosity back. Morey can't possibly think he won't be a locker room issue at this point if we decide to keep him
http://m.chron.com/sports/rockets/article/Donatas-Motiejunas-doesn-t-rejoin-Rockets-for-10788402.php The Rockets' struggles to return Donatas Motiejunas to their roster stretched on another day on Saturday, even after the team and restricted free agent agreed to a new four-year deal. Motiejunas was not at Saturday's game as expected, with Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni saying there had been "some issues," though he said he did not know enough about the situation to be more specific. Another individual, speaking on the condition of anonymity when asked if Motiejunas had completed and passed his physical, said, "Not yet." "I don't know a whole lot," D'Antoni said before Saturday's game against the Mavericks. "They had some trouble with some issues or whatever. I don't know. I just know it's not quite done. They're having some issues. I thought he'd be here tonight and he's not. That's all I kind of know right now. We'll see." Motiejunas was scheduled to take his physical on Saturday. D'Antoni did not elaborate to say whether there were issues found with the tests or in scheduling all of the examination, or if there were other snags unrelated to Motiejunas' medical examinations. He did pass his physical with the Nets before they signed him to an offer sheet on Dec. 2. The Rockets initially matched the offer sheet and determined they would hold Motiejunas to the terms of that deal when he did not agree to take his physical, before reaching agreement on a new contract on Friday. The Rockets have not announced the signing.
