    Accidentally went to BSPN.com

the front page says it all,

Westbrook ties MJ with 7th straight triple-double

Russell Westbrook matched Michael Jordan for the longest triple-double streak since 1989 with his seventh straigh in a loss Friday night to the Rockets.

    - The winning team gets no love. It's all about hero ball. Disgusting.

Is that why Darrul Maury won't answer my tweeters? How do you spell his name? Dare-Rill? Dairelle?

Man the Rockets might potentially go 16-2 in the month of December with tonight's win. Very impressive stuff

Ain't no thang. Rockets winning is old news. They do it all the time. It's a habit. Records are meant to be broken. Too bad MJ doesn't even approach the record!

    MJ + Westbrook = overrated

    Olajuwon + Harden = overlooked

I'm perfectly healthy mate but I appreciate the concern ;)

I am perfectly relaxed, hence why I said a win is a win! My point is he has not 'had' it down the stretch in a lot of games this year.

Yes, he was historically clutch in 14-15 and maintaining those percentages was never going to happen. Its about what he's doing down the stretch this year.

Can you honestly say you feel safe when harden is walking the ball up the court when our lead is evaporating?

In the past I have always felt pretty good about harden having the ball late in the game but he has been super poor over the course of this season in crunch time. The careless turnovers, dribbling on the spot and wasting 23 seconds doing nothing.

Harden has been fantastic over the course of his career but this season I have been really concerned. When he isoed in years past he was crisp with his movements, you could tell there was a plan.

Far Too often there is a lack of decisiveness or killer instinct. He can get into the paint whenever he wants.

No lift on his jumper, throwing the ball away and dwindling leads is not going to get us far at all. So as happy as I am with the win, what hes doing in crunch time and down the stretch is a far cry from what he was doing two years ago. Go back and watch.

He needs to get back to that type of intent, because what largely the basketball he has been playing down the stretch is not going to win us anything. And we want to win a championship right??

    Via ESPN:

Westbrok is now 4-27 on potential go-ahead shots in the final 10 seconds of the 4th quarter/OT in his career. He's missed 10 of his last 11 such attempts.

Anyone else notice how we went small for a long time? Capela played pretty well, but only like 15 minutes. They played Kanter and S.Adams plenty, but we went small. I don't get it. Were we losing an advantage with him in there that I didn't notice? I know his +/- was poor, but it didn't seem like it was by the eye test.

Me too! Losing tomorrow after a good win today would basically negate this win. You can't lose to the worst team in the league, especially at home. But if anything, this team knows how to forget bad losses right away.

I'd take literally anyone over the Harden we saw tonight. Hell give me currently coked up Stevie Franchise. Harden is overall a tremendous player which is pretty obvious but why do people get butt hurt when fans call out piss poor play from a player, yeah even when he's your star player. He's not above criticism. He jacked up like 2 dozen bricks, was slow and lethargic on defense, and forced lazy, idiotic passes which resulted in atleast 10-12 easy pts for OKC. Call a spade a spade, it doesn't take away from the fact he's still one of the top offensive players in the league, but he has a bad habit of forcing things and not giving as much effort when his shot isn't falling.

lol at OKC having 4 max players and 3 of them are Kanter, Oladipo and Adams.... talk about going all in on slightly above average players

From the ESPN headline and highlight reel you would have thought the thunder annihilated the rockets and westbrook totally out played harden.

He's come through in the past against some pretty elite teams. I think the Thunder just did a good job of pouncing on his mistakes. Mistakes he made trying to force points at the end. The defense wasn't giving him anything and with the clock winding down he would hand it to Gordon or Ariza with no time for a proper play. This loss would have been on him no doubt, but he isn't the issue on most nights... I would also say, Anderson HAS to make his freaking shots.

OKC is one of the best teams in the league at rebounding and we outrebounded them. I feel like it was the difference for our win.

Bad rebounding a thing of the past? We're 9th in the league?????

Well guys, I'm going to go on ahead and be positive. I'm loving what I'm seeing from this Rockets team this year.

After having endured the train-wreck that was last season, (which in my 10 years of really watching the Rockets was the worst) it's been a breath of fresh air watching this team perform so well this year.

Ricky Rubio would never hurt his coach.
