I noticed OKC has only played 9 road games this season, compared to the Rocket's 15. Although they are only 2 games behind Houston, we are actually in a pretty good spot moving foward.

 

biggest diff i see is the system is allowing guys besides harden to make plays. last season we basically went however harden went. last season no way we win a game like this with harden in a funk

People should stop saying Harden's physique is OK, it is clear he is too slow for an elite player and is a cause for concern. He needs to be lighter and quicker, otherwise it's not going to work.

It's easy to look at the negatives tonight when they nearly choked away a 13-point fourth quarter lead against a team they already choked against once this season. But they still beat a hot OKC team playing at home on a 6-game winning streak. The Rockets have won 10 of their last 12 and are 10-5 on the road to start the season with their easiest 5-game stretch of the season coming up.

The sky is hardly falling, gentlemen. Far from it...

D'antoni did a good job countering all of Donovan's moves. He really threw off the Thunder when he stopped the pick and rolls (when the Thunder went small) and had Harden go one on one at the top of the key. He also went back to Nene when Donovan brought back Adams. Plus obviously having the 3 guard lineup out there got the job done. Good %$#. Def Coach of the Year stuff.
