Yeah you can definitely make a strong hate / dislike team PG: Chris Paul - Flopper SG: Steph Curry - Annoying little mouth piece chewing brat SF: Kevin Durant - p***y, Beta PF: Draymond Green - Scumbag, Ball kicker, karate kicker C: Zaza Pachulia - Elbow throwing thug Only likeable guy is JaVale McGee and DeAndre Jordan isfine too esp after the way he played the Mavs last off season
Blake Griffin always wets the bed when he faces Draymond, but yeah it looks like the Clippers are we thought they were.
Whenever Durant celebrates with GSW it looks strange and fake. I'm sure it isn't fake, it just looks weird.
Lol it reminds me of the kid in school who didn't show up to any group meetings but somehow at the award ceremony celebrating with the group.
Man It's amazing how un-bothered GSW is with the Clippers. Clippers are supposed to be a top 5 team and GSW plays them like they are a replacement team. It's every time too. Free-wheeling, fancy free basketball from GSW. They literally laugh in their faces.. Even worse, ESPN hypes this madness like the Clippers are finally going to put up a good game and it NEVER comes. How embarrassing for them Clip City Chip City.
Nobody is really bothered by the Clippers, man. Blake Griffin is soft and overrated, if you get physical with him he simply gives up. We saw this when the Rockets came back and beat them in the playoffs with J-Smoove. Dude just cannot handle the physical contact. Chris Paul is solid but I fear that his long career of losing and constantly not being able to make the WC finals is starting to wear on him. Clippers have solid role players, but the mentality of these guys seems to mimic Griffin/Paul almost entirely. This team just doesn't have any balls, man.
Clippers had Rockets number for a number of years... It's probably because we were so soft at the 4 position.
Clippers also had the Warriors number during that same stretch. They've just been a repeating act of failure and they've done it for so long that none of the top dogs of NBA teams are really afraid of them. You would think Doc Rivers would be the guy to turn the ship around too, because he was tough as nails back when he played, yet he's having problems instilling that confidence in these guys. Its just as they always say though when it comes to the NBA, the star players are the ones who are the difference makers and the Clippers have two stars who are soft. Again, this is just my opinion.
Chris Paul has never made it to the WCF dating back to his days with the New Orleans Hornets. He had a pretty good shot at it too with that Game 7 at home against the Spurs in 2008 and his team lost(despite each of the previous 6 games being won in a blowout by the home team). And we all know first hand how his team blew the 3-1 lead(and a 19-point lead at home in Game 6 with 14 minutes left) against the Rockets in 2015. I think we're dealing with a guy who's an amazing player, but just can't carry a team to the promised land come playoff time. There have been guys like that in the league. T-Mac couldn't even get past the first round except when he was riding the bench in street clothes in 2009 and the Spurs' 12th man in 2013. Dominique Wilkins never made it past the second round his entire career, although Larry Bird and Isiah Thomas had something to do with that.
yeah i used to look forward to their matchups when DG was first establishing himself. But after so many meetings, that matchup no longer is interesting anymore.
Clippers just look good on paper. Its been that way for what 4-5 seasons now, we hear the same thing year after year. Oh they've got a deeper team now, more than ever. No, they don't. And now that some guys are getting up in age their time has passed as a team. They can be a good regular season team and probably pass the first round depending on matchup but nothing more than that. Never addressed the SF position and DJ, although solid defensively never added anything to his individual game.
