Just because he comes off the bench doesn't really not make him a starter. He plays starter minutes

 

Can someone with thread starting privileges please start a thread for a Petition to Start Eric Flash (BD) Gordon? I mean, we all love Bev, and he will still get his minutes, but Gordon needs to start and play 34 to 36 minutes per game. We would be so much better. I know we are winning and many people hate to change things up, but trust me, we would be EVEN BETTER!!!!!!

 

These last 4 games the Rockets have looked like legit contenders.

Warriors - beat the best team in the league on the road
Nuggets - B2B high altitude after double OT
Celtics - Terribly officiated, tough physical D
Lakers - Blow out a bad, injured team like you should

As much as we fans complain about coaching, GM moves, superstars not playing defense, etc we really need to recognize and appreciate our team right now.

When you KEEP mentioning that you are accepting the role of 6th man off the bench, you are letting them know that it's still on your mind, hence you don't want to really do that, but are being professional about it.

Gordon is amazing off the bench. 9-13 from the field, with 26 points in 24 minutes. That's incredible production and he's consistently doing it. What an amazing signing.

Our young guys continue to impress. Dekker had a dumb turnover in transition and got beat defensively by Ingram, but was all hustle. That up and under off the pass from Bev was nice, as was the spin move. He's such a crafty finisher. Harrell is a damn beast! He just finishes everything. Not all the young guys impressed though. KJ was pure garbage. It's not the fact that he's missing shots badly, he just so lethargic. Even playing defense against MWP he just looked like he didn't care. He attacked the rim softly and got blocked. I'm disappointed. He's much better than this.

 

Unlike many here don't seem to realize, you can start to players, say Harden and Gordon, play them both 34 to 36 minutes each...and still stagger their minutes to make sure that one of them is on the court at all times. It's not Rocket Science.

He is barely averaging 30 minutes a game. He needs to be averaging 34 to 36 minutes a game. Don't let your love for Bev make you need see that we have another superstar on our team. Gordon is legit.
