Ppl hate Dwight that much? lol. Yes he's not the player he was as a rookie, but who is after 13yrs in the league? He was one of MANY problems with the Rockets last year and that includes our GM. He has his flaws but at the end of the day he's a good player to have. Ppl here want him to fail so bad
We actually wished Dwight Howard the best when he left the Rockets, and we thought the Hawks was the perfect fit for him. But seeing how they are failing, and they play better when he is on the bench, is obvious Dwight Howard is the problem; and was the problem for the Rockets last year. That is why we are making fun of him, and at the same time we are pissed off because he cost us a lot last year.
Yeah, and he also talked **** about the Rockets lying about things on ESPN...thank god Terry denied what Dwight said -> not that it was needed since he already lied in his career and he's well known at this point...
I sure as hell didn't. I was surprised so many fans were rooting for him when he left the Rockets after admitting he quit on the team. That Dwight appreciation thread is filled with love. I still don't understand that thread.
Maybe because he admitted he quit on the team in the middle of the season while having the largest paycheck?
Led helped lead us to WCF and was the best Playoff performer we had. Unforantely, it just didn't work at the end.
Dwight is a chump-ass quitter.. No amount of Western Conference Finaling is going to change that. I can't believe how much slack this dude gets from some Houston fans. We can't be that thirsty for wins in Houston we sacrifice our self respect. I'm thankful for Dwight's 1.5 years of contributions, but thank goodness he f%^ked off with his quitting ass.
We had respect for Dwight Howard because he played his butt off in the playoffs every year. Last year most of us thought the real issue was Kevin McHale, JB Bickerstaff, and Chris Finch. Some fans thought it was James Harden. But now we realize it was Dwight Howard. We're seeing the failure Dwight Howard is having in Atlanta, and the success James Harden and the Rockets are having. Shame on us who didn't see Dwight Howard was the problem last year all along.
I thought he was going to sign with GSW but he went with money over winning, which is exactly what 99% of us would do. I thought the hawks were a good fit because they run the spurs system but watching him play, he can't change. The problem with Dwight isn't the decline, its that he's the only one that doesn't see it. I'm still hoping for the best because a competitive east is good for the league but Cavs, Raptors, Hornets, Celtics, Bulls, Knicks are all playing well. Detroit, Indiana, Atlanta and Washington will be fighting for the last two spots and I think Detroit and Indiana are better teams than Atlanta but there's far too much season left to make predictions now...
I understand. I guess I'm not surprised by Dwight's actions because I remembered he did the same thing in Orlando when getting little to no touches. This is why I have so much respect for Deandre Jordon and Rudy Gobert and Capela.
Harden had a top 10 for a 2 guard in nba history, led all 2 guards in bpm, win shares, and vorp. It was dwight being the lazy ass
This dude is always smiling around other adult men, grabbed another mans penis. What is up with this guy
Harden led the 2015 playoffs in winshares. dwight was decent, but harden was the driving force that run. all the stats show that
The team last year was quit worthy. There have been times Harden quit on defense during games, so let's not pick & choose who to be mad at. At the end of the day Dwight is not a bad guy
There's a difference between quitting on your team and quitting on defense. Sure, they're both shitty but there's still a difference.
I wished him all the best, but Dwight is an anachronism. So damn thankful that Morey and Les were smart enough not to cave in and pay him.
One of the biggest myths around here. Harden was rated as the 3rd best player in the playoffs that year. And no Dwight Howard was not number 1 or 2.
