It was the same until DMo's Twitter fingers azz agent decided he wanted to become a freedom fighter to an avoidable problem he had got himself into
Lol the one that was missing from this thread was someone upset about gay marriage, but now we have it. Can sleep easy now.
Too many Dmo Threads with the same BS. I am going to camp here for a while hoping for useful info not insider stuff
I do not understand. Can someone explain why if DMO had a better offer on the table he signed the BKN one? There wasn't any kind of deadline that made him rush to sign. So what is the meaning of this? Forget RFA even for UFA it doesn't make sense why to sign a worse contract than Utah gave him.
Per Calvin Watkins, listening in, he was talking with DMo's agent and it seems last week, the other team's offer wasn't in writting yet...but Brooklyn's was and he advised DMo to sign the Net's offer even before the other team's offer was written...
Wrong. The poster that is looking dumb is the one who has been wrong all summer and is twisting every story to put a positive spin and somehow hope other posters here forget the **** he said Hint: Look in the mirror or maybe not...
I mean there should be no pouting if this is the case . Either be patient or suck it up . Who even knows if Utah would legit offer him a bigger deal
Not trying to derail the thread but I'm pretty sure you are making an agenda out of what Haymitch said. Nothing in what he said suggested he was referring to same sex marriage. Pretty sure he was talking about the rate of divorce, how many couples cheat on each other etc. But you know, continue to put words in people's mouths. If I'm wrong then I'll owe up to it
Well this whole thing is pretty dumb, whi cares if somebody offered DMo more money he already signed his offer sheet! I dont understand what BJ was thinking or why Basketballholic thinks this is going to make him look good to other players, ur telling me he told DMo to sign an offer prematurely and thats supposed to be a good thing? If anything it makes Dmo and his camp look like dumbasses they waited way till past the season started to get a deal, losing Dmo money in actual income, and then when they finally sign it turns out there was someone making a better offer. Is this a joke? And now BJ is encouraging DMo to miss his physical and fight for their "rights", first of all it was their decision to sign an offer with the Nets in the first place whyd they sign it if they knew Utah was gonna make an offer 1 day later? Secondly well sorry they already signed the deal. Its done. Dmo should go to work. End of story.
Not sure what y'all are talking about but I'm talking about the fact that 50% of all marriage today ends up in divorce within 5 years, much higher rate for divorce if you're a celebrity or loaded since you have more options! Look it up! A contract ain't what it used to be! These D MO threads have now surpassed Lin threads
Pretty simple, in lieu of a physical, the Nets puts incentives in his offer sheet. Morey comes along and inserts a physical into the offer and removes the incentives. If you were the employee here would you accept the boss striking out terms and arbitrarily inserting others when you had already agreed on them? Or would you walk? BJ and DMo feel like they are signing below true value on a prove it to me deal with multiple opportunities for the team to escape the deal without penalty. BJ is simply doing his job here to get DMo the most money combined with the best opportunity for a huge future payday. Who can blame him? Look, we have one of the most genius GM's in the business, who uses the CBA for every possible advantage to his team. Morey has come up with some of the most crazy wicked transactions by using every detail of the CBA, including getting Petrie to get Brooks to walk away from over $3 million guaranteed so Morey could sign him and replace the $3 million Brooks gave up to get out of Sactown. Morey has squeezed the CBA for every possible advantage. And we love it. Why can't you at least understand BJ doing the same here to best position his client for future success both on and off the court? Because that's what's happening here. BJ is attempting to create a great future for DMo based simply in DMo having the playing time opportunity to prove his true worth.
The fact he signed an offer sheet with one team but then all of the sudden just wants to fine a new one making more doesn't sit well with me. That's beyond dirty. I've never heard of anything like this before in the NBA.
