This could be it, so now DMO is just going to return to RFA so that he can go play for that team instead. If so, goodbye.
To hell with BJ. DMO. Go down to Walgreens. Buy some douche. Clean your little Vaheena and get your butt on the court. You are currently looking at throwing away an NBA career. Do you not understand that? Did the doc hook you up to a bit too much oxycodone post surgery and fry your brain. Jesus.
So DMO signs an offer with the Nets, contract is made public, and another team comes in and says "ohhh, man, wish you had talked to us. We were willing to give you more..." WTF? why would a team offer a "higher" contract after an agreement was signed? Doesn't even seem genuous. That's like when the ugly chick asked me to Prom and I delayed giving her an answer cause I didn't want to hurt her feelings and so avoided her for weeks and then she ended up getting a date with some other guy and I was like "ohh man, that guy is so lucky, I totally was going to ask you out and go but just got too busy. I'm so jealous. Argh. " And then she dumped THAT guy and said, "now's your chance." D'Oh.
If I am interpreting it correctly, Dmo's camp is stating he does not need a physical as he already passed it with the Nets.
Why do the Rockets have to do anything at this point? So, BJ and DMo are playing a game to see if the Rockets give up so he can then sign with another team like Utah?
I definitely want to agree with your first sentence, but after watching guys like Scott Boras make careers out of taking advantage of teams, and still finding huge success, you just never know.
Exactly when was it okay for Utah to make an offer? If DMo signed with the Nets, shouldn't other teams be prohibited from making offers??
Yes, this basically spits in the face of RFA and I wonder what the NBA will think of this. It's just DMO today but tomorrow it could be KAT.
He has a right not to undergo the physical within two days of Houston matching, but that means the Rockets can hold him in limbo through March 1. I say if this is accurate, we hold him in limbo and screw him into the dirt so he has to wait until March 2 to return to the RFA. And then we still have RFA rights over him. If that all holds as accurate then let's do that.
