Didn't realize Rose is only 27, how can you be only 27 and already be done? Just sad, this is why you don't draft super athletic pgs who don't have any actual skills anymore, they lose their hops at around 27-28 and its game over suddenly you have Mr. Glass who can't defend, can't shoot and can't make any plays.
Weird situation, I don't buy it that Rose didn't know anything, Butler is just doing some PR business and the Bulls don't seem to know what they want.
This guy is done. He did not have anything beyond athleticism. Count on the Knicks and Dolan for putting up a team of has-been chuckers that is actually going to impede their blue chip prospect.
folks in NYC seem pretty happy with him so far http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/b...e-proving-knicks-worth-risk-article-1.2899817 Derrick Rose proving to Knicks he was well worth the risk Spoiler Derrick Rose has been everything the Knicks could have asked for so far this season. (Julie Jacobson/AP) BY Frank Isola NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Tuesday, December 6, 2016, 12:16 AM Derrick Rose was always going to be Phil Jackson’s best move of the summer because of his contract, his history and his potential. He was a risk worth taking. Rose has been everything Jackson and the Knicks could have hoped for. The veteran point guard is staying healthy and motivated while helping the Knicks to an 11-9 record entering Tuesday’s game in Miami followed by “Posse Bowl I” on Wednesday at the Garden against LeBron James, his business associates and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Rose has already set a few important milestones at the quarter pole of the 2016-17 NBA season. He’s appeared in the first 20 games to start a season for the first time since 2009-10. And Rose has been both durable as well as productive. (Knock on wood). His 340 points are the most Rose has scored in the first 20 games of a season since his MVP year of 2010-11. And although there have been reports out of Chicago that Rose was a disruptive force in the Bulls locker room last season and that he butted heads with rising star Jimmy Butler, the opposite has been true in New York. From all accounts, Rose has been a good teammate. Even a demanding one. more at the link
