Based on our history we will be hiring an Assistant Coach.

Thankfully, we have a decent few to choose from.

I trust them to make the best hire like they always do.

Saban is lobbying for Kiffin hard because he is probably going to LSU if he doesn't get the UH job.

Kiffin will take the job and wait for lsu to fire Orgeron in 2 years and he'll jump ship just like Herm.

Think the Las Vegas bowl is good for the kids. Have some fun. Well earned. San Diego St. is a conference champion, 10-3, and a rushing team. So like our chances. No visibility, in fact, not sure anyone will see this game on December 17th, but if we win we'll likely move into the top 20 and jump the losers.

And to piggyback onto that, SDSU has a Heisman contender in Pumphrey. Him versus our #2 ranked rush defense led by Big Ed Oliver should be FUN.

A good destination vs. a good team. I'm a happy camper.

A win will build some great momentum for next year.

Unless things go completely to hell, LSU will not fire Orgeron anytime soon. They love him. He does need to buddy up with a great OC.

Congrats on the Vegas Bowl, UH! There's about 25 worse places yall could go, that should be fun for everyone.

I don't care how much they "love" him now. If Orgeron isn't an improvement over Miles, he will be fired in 2 years.

He's gotta hire a credible OC that can recruit a good QB and run a diverse offense or his LSU coaching career will be over quick.

    You don't have to.

They do, and they love the guy. He's literally a coonass just like them. That gets him a a good bit of slack.

Yes, as I mentioned earlier maybe even twice, he does have to get a legit OC. That shouldn't be a problem though.

LSU wants to challenge Bama again, Miles let it go down (ala Mack) so we'll see what happens

They do love them some Coach O but he was also their 3rd choice behind Fisher and Herman. Also they are getting heck of a HC bargain with him so moving on wouldn't be as big of a problem.

With that said, with Aranda and a top flight OC, I think he's a damn good fit.
