Hillary didn't promise tax cuts to the wealthy that some people project will cost tens of trillions. Sound familiar? Spoiler: hint G E O R G E W. B U S H Nor did she blatantly promote a policy of hiring in shills to departments that won't improve nor shut down departments, but more like Bush, drain its coffers and provoke angry reactions that those deparments don't work. The big enchilada that everyone, perhaps the exception of you and the people who sat home, are the SCOTUS seats that has great importance on whoever the president will be. May you can assert that Trump will tweet Hillary for crib notes to her picks? I get that both establishment parties push "similar agendas" especially in foreign and global trade policy, exceedingly strong executive powers, heavy manipulation of the media but to flippantly dismiss the differences between Hillary and Trump again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again really wears down your geniuos observation.
Again, I get it. You are more concerned about liberals getting power than actual policy. Obviously since you're worried about SOCTUS appointments. Anyone but a conservative. Team politics!! GO LIBERALS. Of course Hillary and Trump have their difference. The difference is the left is perfectly fine with Hillary being their nomination and refuse to see how terrible of a person she is. She got beat by Donald Trump. And TEAM LIBERAL still can't understand why she is a terrible candidate. You should be angry your party put up a puppet for the banks. I abandoned my blind support for the right for this very reason. Did you forget the messages during the election? Trump: We need jobs. We need to work on the economy. We need to secure the borders. We need to contain domestic terrorism. Hillary: TPP? You all are too stupid to understand why its so important. Build a wall? Thats not PC and you will hurt hispanics feels (you're racist, despite mexican isn't a race). Put a hold on refugees from muslim countries? Thats xenophobic. We vet our muslim immigrants very well, never mind the ones who try to mow everyone down and stab them with a butcher knife. Losing jobs overseas? What does that matter? They are going to leave anyways. Trump had a message. Hillary didn't. Again, you should be angry your TEAM put this candidate on the ticket.
Fa False. Most democracts that I know were not happy with Hillary and were the first people to bring things about her to light. Granted most people did it in an attempt to legitimize Bernie Sanders early on and then resentment later on. In any case, be careful generalizing an entire body of people. This binary form of thinking is very harmful.
Ben Carson for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. Definitely an outsider pick. I think this also qualify as the blind leading the blind. Armstrong Williams, told The Hill last month that the former GOP presidential hopeful wasn't interested in a Cabinet position because, "Dr. Carson feels he has no government experience, he's never run a federal agency. The last thing he would want to do was take a position that could cripple the presidency."
Come on, now. Huckabee tweeted that Carson lived in public housing, so of course he's qualified! Anyone who lived in public housing can take that job! Plus, he's black, so he's automatically an expert on that. . . . Plus, he tried to stab a dude, but the dude's belt buckle broke his plastic PBJ knife: "urban" all the way! B to the E to the N to the C to the A to the R to the S to the O to the N. . . . That means I'm urban!
Dude, you should really relax and maybe roll a J, sometime. Try listening to some soft jazz. You seem very tense, man.
Between Trump, who has made a career of sorts out of "Housing" and "Urban development," and Carson, who is very bright and who comes from public housing, I would be ready to bet that these two will take this seriously and will have something interesting up their sleeves for this department. Again, let's remember, Trump is no libertarian and he is not in any way opposed to using government to pursue what he considers to be civic priorities, such as lower-income housing and urban development. I will be surprised if we do not see some creative and clever new initiative of significant scope and scale initiated by these two on this subject.
Donald Trump will appoint four-star General John Kelly to be the head of Homeland Security. So it appears that Trump is viewing Homeland Security as at more of a national security than an immigration issue. Of course DHS also is in charge of immigration and border security. This appointment could result in a substantial cultural change over what it is now.
The appointment of Iowa's Terry Branstad looks to be a shrewd choice. I'll give credit when credit is due. Sure, he was a Trump supporter, but this shows some moderate understanding of the Chinese government and political culture, which is very relationship based. Branstad goes waaaaay back with the Chinese leader, to 1984 or so I believe, and they pulled off the (at the time) greatest soybean deal ever in 2011 between China and Iowa. Time with tell if Branstad actually gets to advise Trump or whether he'll spend 4 years just cleaning up Tweeted piles of rhetorical excrement. I'm hoping for the former.
my understanding is branstad's disliked in iowa for his brazen corruption and they're happy to see him go. views that now he's just gonna extend this and represent his big agriculture corps in china above all other us business i'm happy about trump's EPA pick though
People need income that can pay for housing, not government support for housing. Deport the illegals and hire Americans first in the tech sector. There is no leverage for higher income, better benefits, or career growth if Americans are continually undermined in their efforts to provide for their family's needs.
In other words, big budget cuts in HUD. They don't handle immigration enforcement and all that other stuff.
Business owner starts small, makes it big, and finds success. Nope. Can't make that up. By SBA definition (according to Forbes), hedge funds are small businesses.
