    28 points
    17 rebounds
    12 assists
    10 turnovers

guess we shouldn't laugh too hard. Harden is due for one, too.

I hope harden doesn't hit one lol.

Westbrook is out of control but it's interesting to look at his box scores.

I'm not a fan I don't enjoy watching him or the thunder it's ugly basketball but he's putting up crazy numbers. The rebounding is the most impressive thing.

5 in a row though! They've feasted on their easy schedule. It's on the Rockets to do the same.

I do watch a lot of OKC games, and one thing that stands out is how OKC players box out hard in order for Russ to snatch all those rebounds, especially Steve Adams sacrifices a lot of his own. Not to take anything away from Westbrook, but if OKC players had not buy into this scheme, Westbrook would not be grabbing nearly as much rebounds for sure.

Just realized Westbrook is now averaging a Triple Double for the season.

    Can he do it!

The Thunder are just gonna keep playing trash teams at home for the rest of the season. I'm convinced. Seems like it's happening every night.

They've had an extreamly easy schedule.

There going to slide big time once they start playing more playoff teams from the east and west.

I expect Friday's game to be good.... for the rockets. I'm expecting a huge blowout win. No way we don't have that game marked down as it seems all the players think we gifted them that game.

Well, they DID beat us man. Just saying.

Not sure if Westbrook will be able to keep up this pace and still be alive by the end of the season. But, you can't help but admire what he's doing. Same with Harden, I think they've both come out of the gates with a fury but both of them are going to have trouble keeping up later in the season unless they start getting better and more consistent contributions from teammates.

I think this will be the most interesting thing about the Thunder
No one thinks they can win anything . . .so focus on the chase for the Triple Double Season

I was listening to a pod with the Thunder's beat writer on it and he said it's a collective effort to help get Russ the rebounds. Donovan believes Russ on the break is better than their half court offense so he is in on it as well.

Next time you watch the Thunder, watch how anytime a rebound goes near a teammate, but Russ is close, they'll let him have it. There were 4 such instances in the first half alone tonight.

The difference is Harden is getting consistent contributions from teammates

I hope it can continue, dude just worries about Beverly, Anderson, Gordon, etc going down with injury. This is Houston, afterall. We know the injuries are coming man, just a fact of life when you root for Houston teams.

I can't fathom how it is possible for everyone (including the so-called "experts") to be riding Westbrick's d*** this season and drool over his stat line.

His percentages are god-awful and his usage rate is off the chain making his numbers much more attainable than they actually are. He leads the NBA in TOs (ahead of Harden btw) and his team is on route to barely make the playoffs.

If he keeps this up, the only notable thing when the season ends will be his level of energy which is indeed out of this world.

Well, if he can sustain it (dude doesn't think he can but I've been out-duded before) then he's fine. Personally, I think he will run out of gas while carrying this bunch of rag tags and crusty biatches. But, dude has been wrong before. In fact I was wrong just 7 minutes ago when my lady friend told me how much of a piece of crap I was. How did I know I was wrong? When words started flying out of her mouth.

I seriously have a problem with ppl riding WB's d***. Really he shoots like 12/35 every single game? His Big Men are boxing out for him and he takes every rebound. Seriously all the time i hear "Westbrooks' teammates suck hard"?
    -Kanter is not bad
-Adams is actually really good he is always seen as a defensive player but his postgame is actually extremely good, he hits floaters and hooks at a high percentage
    -Oladipo is pretty good
-Roberson is like ariza minus the shooting, just a good defensive player again.

Does Westbrick need to shoot 35 Shots a game? He definetely doesn't and he should get punished for that! Kanter, Oladipo, Adams and especially Morrow of the bench should get some of WB shots.

Yes Westbrook is a very good player and i actually like him. But this Triple Double is nothing more than fools gold.

EDIT: I forgot to say that most of the wins they got were against scrub teams and at home.

Agree 100%. Everyone's riding on his dick because most people are dumb and just look at averages without considering efficiency. They also thought that OKC had always been a two-man band and so with KD out WB is the only one "carrying" the team, and his stat line reinforces that mentality. The reality is I would actually rank OKC's supporting cast on par or even ahead of our own for this season, as Oladipo and Steven Adams can already be considered really good players not to mention guys like Morrow and Kanter the rest of the OKC cast are also decent.

Westbrick is probably the star player I dislike the 2nd most in the NBA, he plays the wrong way (ALL ISO), he is overly dramatic, he's too hot-headed, and most of all he talks a tough game but doesn't put his money where his mouth is, I haven't seen him add a single skill set to his game and he's now what, 9 years in the league? WB is clearly the next iteration of the Steve Francis/Allen Iverson/Starbury model and just like those guys will become irrelevant as soon as he loses his hops.

Westbrook takes an awful lot of bad shots and probably leads the NBA in airballs too. But he has that motor we wish Harden had; The guy is relentless and will never stop.

The comparison part does not interest me to be honest but the analysis on its own is quite interesting..
