Since the offense crumbles on virtually every drive, the team needs the defense "the most" all the time. When you have the #12 scoring defense and the #29 scoring offense, you can't endlessly blame the defense for every loss.
Nice to see Brock instantly look for the TE short of the 1st down on 3rd down. He didn't even give the outside receivers a chance before firing off that weak attempt.
Win or lose I like seeing all the players with muddy jerseys in the snow. This is the way football was meant to be played especially on what used to be called "the Black and Blue Division."
That's on the QB, he sees what's there, what/who is around the receiver and it's his job to throw it at his feet if the guy can't make a play after the catch.
Had he caught it, then they could have made the decision to go for it on 4th and a yard. Unfortunately Texans players drop 3rd down passes when they hit them in the hands.
Defense hasn't had a good enough pass rush but they have still kept down the Packers adequately to keep it close enough. Texans just don't have a competent offense. This team would be no worse than 8-3 with just an average offense right now. Butt chin and his offense needs to go.
