I don't think Atlanta will go into fire sale mode yet. But this could definitely be something to look for closer to the deadline.
Right now, Millsap is the only guy worth getting that would put us closer to the elite teams on that roster. Even Korver is a shell of himself since last season.
Didn't Codman say in a subsequent post that by "Birds" he was somehow referencing Sacramento? (I'll have to go check.) EDIT: It's too late and I'm not good at copying and pasting with this iPad. He did mention there are things "going on there" in Atlanta, even if Millsap will be a professional wherever he plays; but he then goes on to mention "your Free Birds are currently in Sacramento" and they want a role and playing time and such.

Interesting scenario. They're not going to resign him anyway imo, and his market value should be really low at this point...oh, another thing, he should like the idea of coming here and play for us/MDA to boost his numbers just before he enters free agency.
Yeah, and even though i'm not particularly fan of Tyreke as a player, since we kinda lack some sort of primary ball handler in the second unit, if healty, he should be pretty good in that role.

Gotta agree with dharocks, that's a negative trade for NOLA. Evans as an expiring is worth much more than eating someone's wasted salary, so they can have more caproom.
Is anyone else grossed out by the image of fans jerking off to The Rockets? People make these posts all the time and I always find them so bizarre. I guess it's sort of like being the kind of guy that likes to go to strip clubs with friends and become aroused with them. I've been to plenty of strip clubs but I don't enjoy being aroused by naked women with my friends. I enjoy having a woman do what she does in a lap dance but I certainly don't want my friends there cheering it on. That completely ruins it for me. Kind of went off on a tangent there but the things are related I think. I still remember a childhood party, around age 10 or 11, all the party guests being boys, and the birthday boy suggesting we all jerk off together in a circle. That was when I left. I'm not a prude; I'm the opposite of a prude. But I'm put off and weirded out every time someone here says that a great game or great move by our team makes them want to jerk off. It's just gross.
