    D-Mo betting on himself would have been to accept the 7M a few weeks ago and becoming unrestricted next summer.

    The info that comes up about this contract the worse it looks for Dmo . Apparently only 5mil is guaranteed now !?!?

    Frankly he lost out on guaranteed money from our own 8mil offer earlier in the year . Dmo's agent is trash

    Lmao bj doesn't base his decisions on numbers because he apparently doesn't know that 8>5 LMAO

    I actually feel a bit bad for Dmo . There is literally no way this contract is better than the one the rockets were offering in almost any case .

    No no, that is not what I am saying, I am trying to figure out his angle, and the ONLY one I can see is that instead of a team option for next year he has it EARLIER so he knows if he is an UFA after this year or stays with the team.

    Otherwise, I got nothing.

    Still $5 million he didn't have yesterday. Made a mistake not taking the Rockets offer but anyday you're getting contract for $5 million bucks guaranteed for a few months of being a pro bball player... it's a good day.

    The only reason team doesn't pick up the option is that he's damaged goods. In that case what does it matter if he's UFA or not? The more guaranteed money, the better.
