white folks dont get love...but Dekker is athletic...With more games, he is gonna get comfortable. Just to let you know...Dekker has always played huge on a big stage...tonight was no different.
I've said it a couple of times. He's not a great player, but he has this... attitude like he just doesn't care who he's playing against. The Spurs game on the rod.. now the Warriors. Clutch steals, huge offensive rebound late to hit Gordon for the three to tie it up. And as another poster mentioned tonight, he's extremely smart on releasing off pick and rolls, and how to find empty spots in the defense. This guy could be huge off the bench as we go forward. I was terrified of our bench or what it would be, but now you have Gordon, Trez, Dekker...
I "think" the Rox are the only NBA team that's beaten both spurs and warriors....as far as Dekker...if he keeps playing this way we can call it bad as long as he produces these kinda numbers and hustle indeed
Come the end of the season . . . NeNe and Brewer will probably be seeing alot less minutes Rocket River
As they should. Both Dekker and Montezl proved that they can play with the best of them. That's why I'm happy. I don't care that they won, but that we have players that will show up during these games.
Those quick reverse off the board layups due to knowing the position of the defender was amazing... He had 2 of those under high pressure in OT. Let Dekker take all of Brewer's minutes and the Rockets win more games.
I would hope so. I have to think that Brewers reckless, inconsistent play has to eventually get him out of the rotation or at least marginalized.
