There's no chance Miles gets another SEC HC job at his age, so you don't have to worry about that.

Kiffin would do a very good job at UH I think. But obviously he's the type & age that would leave UH at the very first opportunity. He's already tasted being HC at USC and Tennessee, so there's no way he would want to stay at UH for his entire life.

Thanks for passing this along Donny.

Numerous UH players have said he lied to them as well.

Dude has NO idea what integrity is.

Probably true although after his time at USC and Tenn I am not so sure he ever gets another shot at another major program, certainly not a year or two after being the coach at UH.

He recruits exceptionally well and would know how to utilize the talent at UH.

He is a scum bag but so is 90% of college football coaches.

We do this in real life dude. We leave for better jobs.

If you erase the school loyalty from this and strip it down to just money, he's leaving a 2-3 million dollar job for a 6 million dollar job.

you'd leave your Houston Job if an employer in Austin is willing to double your salary. anybody would.

Yeah... there is more, I just have decided to not post about it because it is disappointing.

How he has treated his ex players since leaving has been very poor.

Herman also left a pile of unpaid bills at the athletic department.

Do you bother to read what was posted? UH was willing to match whatever UT offered. He also just left the UH vehicle at the airport and told UH to pick it up. Classless ...... but it won't matter if he wins championships at UT.

Tinman is basically a UT robot. He doesn't read or comprehend things. It's best to just ignore.

UH couldn't match what UT was offering unless UH joined a power conference. This would be the same with LSU.

UT made 183 mill in revenue while UH made 44 mill.

I agree, he should have Ubered.

Could you imagine a shitlord UH staff of Art Briles, Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian?

Yeah... except TF is worth billions of dollars and said he would match any contract offer so yes, they would have paid him the same as UT.

He left because he felt he had a better chance to win at UT.

There you go again Tinman with your head up your @$$!!!

TF (who's a BILLIONAIRE) could pay that classless POS whatever he wanted (and would have).

There you go again pounding on your chest about how nobody can touch UT and their wealth.

Tinman I think it's a safe bet to say that UT does less with more than ANY SCHOOL in the country.

ONE National championship in 46 yrs. BYU & GT have just as many.

THREE Big X11 championships in TWENTY-ONE FREAKIN YRS!!!!

Have loss 5 or more games in SIX OF THE PAST SEVEN YRS.

And you're beating on your chest?

if UT offered 10 million to Herman, do you think UH could match?
that's a hell to the no.

That was just talk and I don't know if this was pre BIG 12 snub.

He's not working for Landry's, he's working for UH. They need approvals etc. There are billionaires on every big campus.

I understand you guys are bitter, that's why a bunch of you are trolling the UT thread.

But he wasn't going to stay, this is the same thing if he had left for LSU, you'd be b****ing to the LSU alum here.

It wasn't in the contract that we had to sit back and take it like b1tches. F*** Tom. I hope he fails miserably.

Sumlin left UH, Briles, Herman ....

Did you think he'd stay there forever and become some type of Coach K and that UH is Duke?
The whole season he was rumored to leave.
