Nets considering DMo offer

I'm okay with him taking Ryan Anderson's minutes. I am not too thrilled with that signing.

 

I would hope he takes minutes at the 4 and the 5....we could have used Dmo playing Gobert in the last game, and have DMo at the 3pt line opening up the paint for Harden.

Dude, this is SO WEIRD! Nets were the obvious team to give offer sheet this summer, they instead went and signed ton of shitty PFs and now they return to DMo anyway.

Why is it almost November and he's just now maybe signing an offer sheet? The whole thing seems stupid. I'd like to have him back if he's healthy but I don't think about him at all during games.

 

They probably see reduced probability that HOU matches now.

 

Is it me or does it seem that DMo & BJ should have reached out to other teams back in July?

 

At least there will be an end to this saga, one way or another.

 

It looks like their plan is being executed pretty well. It seems pretty clear reading the tea leaves that DMo does not want to play for the Rockets anymore and has made it to where he can't be traded, and he gets his money - making it unpalatable for our GM Trader Joe.

Maybe his plan all along was to get to a team other than the Rockets? If the Rockets REALLY REALLY wanted him they could have upped their offer - made it guaranteed for more years.....they offered a little more to appease the fans, but they did their cheap thing with RFAs as usual.

Looks like players are getting wise to that and finding ways to work that to their advantage.

Looks like maybe BJ leaked that vague info about Utah ("If Favors is lost for extended time") in order to flush out dormant offers.
