Oh I meant he sucks in real life basketball too, not that he sucks as a person, but hey, who knows.

Smokescreen move by Morey. Baze was a cloud of haze.

This would have been a very Osweilerian signing by the Rockets.

Baze (Kent Bazemore) is struggling: 37 percent shooting and 29 percent (!) on 3-pointers. He’s made half or more of his threes just seven times in 25 games so far this year.

Good call Morey!! This is why we should all keep to ourselves and let the wise do their job ;)

I thought Morey reached out to Bazemore first, and Bazemore chose ATL over HOU. Afterward, Morey swooped in on EGo.

So if it were Morey's choice (at the time of Free Agency) he would've gone for Bazemore over EGo

Hindsight, I'm glad Bazemore chose ATL. sucker

I'd have to check, but it seems Bazemore's one good game (well, 20 points) was against us. He'd been on a slump until then. Guess he's been in a slump since then, too. His pride showed up for that game; Dwight put up some numbers, too (maybe he got in on the punishment with Dwight). But otherwise, missing out on Bazemore was a plus.

Sometimes our front office needs a little failure for the good of the team.

    Gordon >>>>>> than Bazemore.

We should all know that how you play with Dwight is not how you would play with James and D'Antoni. For all we know Kent would be killing it over here.

    Too true.

And once upon a time we were close to Carmelo, Bosh, and Pau Gasol.

Various ways of failing at those acquisitions eventually allowed us to net Harden, and Howard, and so on.

Sometimes the deals that aren't made are huge, because there are so many moving parts in player acquisitions.

    The real question is

Would you rather of had - Horford and Bazemore for 43 million?

or Gordon and Anderson for 33 million?

The front office seems to know when the right time is to cut ties with players.

Not offering Dwight any kind of contract for over the summer seems like a no-brainer now, but at the time we were losing one of our stars for nothing, so that couldn't have been easy.

Time will tell whether letting DMo go for nothing will pay off, too. Had to be a tough choice.

    Corey, you're on deck.

One of my old bosses used to always say "Sometimes the best deal you'll do is the one you didn't do"
