You're stupid for not understanding how bets work. Literally only two components. One person suggests a bet. The other person accepts the bet.

Only half of the requirements were satisfied. The fact that you can't understand something simple like this, makes you look like a complete moron.

What's your IQ? Did you get good grades in school? Serious question.

brah you posted that in the betting thread. Sad and pathetic how you're trying to weasel out of the bet. In the real world people would have their heads smashed into a pavement for what you're trying to do.

It's an emblem originally intended for military or dynastic symbolism in combative or diplomatic engagements. Only someone desperate to purge and cleanse entire segments of our society would allege capital offenses this recklessly and disingenuously.

Dude a bet can't exist by one person just suggesting it while the other one does not even acknowledge it. Everyone in the real world knows that a bet isn't real unless there was a handshake agreement between both parties. In a forum, at minimum you would've had to give me a response to my post saying yes or no. You never did.

Wasn't aware how flags are burned since I don't particularly care about any flag. Now care to explain these veterans that burned the flag in protest the last time Congress ruled on this? I can find more links of vets doing it not to retire a flag but just because some veterans really do view the flag as a piece of cloth. Likewise for my best friend that served in the Army and my brother that served in the Navy. They view it as a piece of cloth because that's exactly what it is.

Would Southern Pride people become irate over the Confederate flag being burned? Probably but it wouldn't hurt anyone. Likewise for people that are anti-gay that burn a gay pride flag. It's not hurting anyone despite the ill intentions behind it nor should anyone lose their citizenship or be subjected to jail time on account of a piece of cloth. That said I think this is just a distraction to avoid discussion over his horrible cabinet appointments.

It's funny how the people in 1989 opposing the veterans burning the flag are mostly the same people in this thread with similar racist viewpoints and ideas of what it is to be patriotic.

@RocketsLegend, @TheRealist137 is right. You're being a doofus trying to insist on a bet that wasn't consummated. If the election had gone the other way and he was trying to get you to honor the bet you would be justifiably insisting you never agreed. What you want here is some asymmetric risk by staying mum where he has to honor bets and you don't.

Does it bother anyone that the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet is using twitter to say whatever uncontrollable and poorly thought thought that enters his head at that moment in time? Seriously, the guy was elected President. Have some dignity and self control and stop posting the inner rambling string of thoughts that cross your mind. Saying things like people that burn the flag should lose citizenship, or your Presidential opponent should go to prison, or Mexicans are rapists, etc.... there are real life consequences in the USA and around the world...

It bothered me before the election. I understood the implications of electing this guy. But then America said this is what we wanted, so I'm letting go. We really are this bad.

Hopefully after hitting the bottom of the barrel as we did this election with the 2 worst candidates for president imaginable we'll bounce back and nominate better people in the future. This election was going to be a complete and total embarrassment no matter who won....and I think it's important that we remember that. It's not just Trump who is awful.

Trump is wrong on this issue, net neutrality, global warming and whistleblowers among the few.

The flag is a symbol, not the cloth sewn together to represent it. It cannot be burned, nor tarnished... unless you try to remove one's right to do as they please with a piece of cloth they've purchased themselves.

No, now it's just Trump who's awful. For four years. Hillary is out of the picture.

Yes, NOW it's just Trump, but my point was that no matter what, we were going to have an awful president.

At least with HRC, her advisors would actually be respected individuals in their areas.
