If your report that he felt "betrayed" by the Anderson signing is true, he is more than a malcontent and more than a diva; if your report is true he is delusional as well. You don't put up 6 and 3 and think you're owed the starting 4 spot. If you do you are delusional. And a malcontent to boot.

I agree many said it. I liked him and thought he would be very good with more time. I'll be honest and say I didn't think he'd be THIS good. I don't recall very many of these alley oops last year when he played, although he may have not always played with James. The. There are some respected folks like Codman who are more hesitant about him. I for one think he's played really well - again I see his prime as a prime Tyson chandler, who did anchor a championship team. And he's only 22 so I am excited about that. I just want him to really assert himself more on the glass and at the rim too. I think he has that skill - as others said, he looks natural out there.

I definitely saw the alley oops last year, it was one of the only things that worked for us. James to Capela. Then Dwight would come in, bog down and close out the lane/ push Capela to the bench.

I see his ceiling more as a Hassan Whiteside (hopefully without the crazy?) - not a guy who has any range, but an improving rebounder as he strengthens, a shot blocker, and finisher in close.

 

I would say DMo is pissed off at the situation or angry - but that changes for most players once the contract is signed and he starts playing basketball.

The reason I brought up Hakeem was to emphasize that point, he almost got traded and was disgruntled and a malcontent over his contract, but they worked it out and he was fine.

I suspect if Morey and DMo work it out the same thing would happen here.

It's time to move on at this point. What you see with guys like Dekker, Andersen, and even Kiltjer's pre-season is far greater than what Dmo can offer at this point.

 

You need to reread my original post you responded to. We don't have a different viewpoint. You invented that. I said in my original post that if he can play here happy I'd be happy to have him and you argued back that you disagreed and then wrote a post that was disagreeable but didn't actually disagree with anything I'd posted.

You're obviously addicted to posting here and maybe you just like these tussles. To me it's like trying to have a rational conversation with giddyup in the D&D (which I haven't posted in or barely glanced at in years). Also I really need to tell you that taking a shower is much more efficient and gets you much cleaner than taking so many baths all the time.

See what I did there? I have no idea if you shower or take baths, just like you have no idea how they're communicating. But you post as if you know that their failure of communication is because they're emailing instead of talking face to face. You have no more knowledge of how they communicate than I do of how you wash yourself.
