I've been meaning to say this but Bev's defense has been sub par since he came back, it really hurts our perimeter defense when he's not performing well on that end
We've played better teams this year closer...so it's possible. Warriors lost a game to the Lakers, if it becomes an up and down fast paced game it comes down to whose hot that night.
The Jazz are not this much better than the Rockets anyone can see that. Houstons team leader James Harden did not play hard tonight and this is one thing I really would give to Russell Westbrook over James is that he plays to win every game. James plays to win the big games and relies on his teammates for the other games. This is what will lead to the Rockets ultimately being an underachiever this year. On a side note James Harden mentally really struggles against height, he becomes very passive.
Exactly. We had the second best starting unit in the NBA for a time with Harden, Gordon, Ariza, Anderson and Capela. MDA is still tinkering and trying to decide his lineups and rotations 19 games into the season. That's his biggest downfall to me so far, more than the defense almost. Capela needs to play 36 minutes a game. Gordon, Anderson, and Ariza all need to be between 34 to 36mpg. Harden has to be at 37 to 39. Otherwise we don't have enough to win consistently. Oh, and did I mention that Sewer needs to be a 0mpg with his minutes going to KJ and/or Dekker?
three things: 1. neg rep is not a "thing" anymore, it is on par with "sticks and stones may break my bones." So, you really didn't hurt my feelings just then. 2. Isn't there a shoe that has to be eaten before we go slinging non-existent neg reps around tonight? yes, I think there is. 3. Wasn't there also some IRA account that was to have been emptied and funds distributed to some fellow clutch fans? better get on it. I'll expect my check in the mail. back to your lives, citizens.
but...but...but... Cavs, Clippers, Spurs all lost to the scrubs tonight... at least Utah isn't a scrub
I can't be too mad -- Jazz put on a clinic on both ends. Denver is now a must win, though. I'm gonna go into my prayer closet about that one.
He was actually pretty good in these past games, tonight i think he did at least a decent job on Hill...but anyway, when you have Harden and Anderson on the starting five i think the problem lies somewhere else tbh...James and Ryan were pretty bad tonight, you cannot have a solid team defense if two of your players on the court get beaten or help the other team to make an easy play every single time they're involved in a play...i literally lost the count of how many times Ryan and James man was left wide open after a switch because they were to slow to recover or because they just didn't switch at all...
Would you rest the starters against the Warriors hp? I know that's kinda weak, but i think we have really no chance to win against them, maybe if Green was still out...
Calvin speaking the truth on the post game about players, their roles, their minutes, etc., and the coach eventually losing some of them if he isn't consistent. MDA better be careful with his strange changes and decisions and this team.
Bev got torched by McCollum and has not been good on D independent of other players' issues. This has been the case the last two to three years.
