I fet like last night, Ryno was simmering and on the verge of getting hot but the system didn't creat good opportunities for him to get shots. He did seem to help in the rebounding dept though.
Same here. I hated his contract, not so much the player. I was more concerned about the investment and his record with the "i" word, but look at the results. He fits this offense and we're winning games. We'll have a better sense of how this team is doing by the break. Defense and turnovers need a lot of work. Still, look at the record!
Damian Lillard as a rookie has contributed more than some 10 year vet PG with lesser skills and talent.
Perhaps so, then, how about Toronto 2 years in a row playing competent rookies as starters instead of 10 years vets?
He is vastly overpaid - this team as assembled will not win anything in the playoffs.....we need some more options when teams take away Harden. DD
It's been 16 or 17 games into Anderson's contract and we are winning.. I am not sure you'll find much in the way to support your view. What rookies are you referring on Toronto out of curioisity?
That's not too suprising honestly. It's not like Dekker and Wiltjer haven't had opportunities in practice but alas...
Some people are worried about the wrong things. Man get off this man's pocketbook. If you're not seeing what he brings to the table then you have the lowest IQ as a fan.
you can easily see who actually has some sort of bball IQ and who doesn't where many aspects don't show up on the stat sheet. Especially in an organized game at the highest level where the entire concept of a team's system comes into play. The average person doesn't truly understand the value of floor balance and spacing for someone like Ryno to provide next to Harden and can actually shoot the ball with range. Especially when it is so critical to an MDA system. Its hilarious to see some of these posts that think certain guys can provide the exact same thing based off stats and advanced stats without even knowing actual true personnel attributes. what a complete joke
And how has this "Trader Joe" mentality worked out in his 10+ years? I believe players play better when they are secure and comfortable in their position, the Rockets have been flip flip flipping their way to mediocrity for more than 10 years. To me, we are treading water. DD
Quite well in my opinion when you take into account the context of the league and where the organization was 10 years ago with 2 broken down superstars. It's very hard to win in the NBA, ask the Thunder. Not sure how we can be treading water when we have a top 5 player who signed an extension this offseason. To each their own.
Yeah it's very clear that some of these fans on here are clueless. I've always got a kick out of people being upset about how these rich folk spend their money. Morey and Company have been going after this dude for a hot minute. And for those reasons you mentioned above. We finally have our stretch 4. Morey philosophy is in full effect and we're complaining about how we don't like Anderson's contract. Classic Clutchfans syndrome
amazing what a true stretch 4 can do in a system built around your best player. but hey some people want guys like kent bazemore around here and think guys like that can provide the same principles to this team. classic
