This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

If by torches and pitchforks you mean season ticket renewals then yes.

The level of dedication and commitment the City of Houston has for these Texans relative to the Rockets, Astros, Cougars and Dynamo, teams with much much more success rates....is just crazy. We hold McNair accountable like McNair holds his staff accountable.

I can tell you one thing, there's not a chance in hell my pops renews his tickets unless they come with a Half off offer.

    Not a chance in hell.

I'm not normally one to resort to name calling but....I'll be referring to the player as Brick from no way on. Or asswater. Or brick asswater. But definitely Brick.

It doesn't matter there are thousands to take his place. Houston loves their texans.

The most unHouston thing ever would be for Savage to get the start and be amazing and an obvious top 15 QB.

One day something like that will happen. One day....

People say if you don't like it then stop giving them money, vote with your wallet. And then you do and people say it doesn't matter.

It does matter. You think, maybe, you're probably not the only person who knows the seats will be sold out next season too?

Where is that guy who has been telling everyone they're stupid for being concerned about Brock and/or this team because we're 6-3 and we're all ignorant for questioning anyone or anything associated with this franchise? Supernot or something like that?

I look at it this way. We are paying two Quarterbacks. One is guaranteed huge sums of money through next year, and the other we have on contract through next season as well, but for much less. What does it matter who starts as long as the best man is in? If Savage learns from experience, which we have never given him, and plays better than Brock, then we are doing the right thing. We aren't paying any more money to start Savage, but we might actually find out he can really be good. We let them fight it out next year if need be, and draft a QB next year, whether people say there isn't one worth drafting or not. There is always someone worth drafting, and yes, sometimes nobody thought they were going to be really good. Just ask New England or Dallas about their QBs who everyone passed up on.

We will soon find out who made the Osweiler call.

    I'm done with the guy.

I tried to get behind him, but he's terrible.

Yeah, SuperNot was emphatically saying anyone who had concerns about the team was an idiot.

And BobbyTheGrate was calling everyone a stupid fan for criticizing Osweiler

Brock is going to be the reason Houston loses Deandre Hopkins

    Hot take here:

Only way Brick is making an exit is in a body bag right? Remember when Matt Schaub was soooooooooo bad and by the time he got laid out people were just happy to move on (I don't think anybody was really happy the guy was hurt)???

Bold prediction...Brick's OL gets him laid out and he has to leave a game. Texans fans cheer again. Media jumps all over the fans again. Savage gets the Keenum treatment. Plays ok, doesn't get a chance from the new coach.

    This.

The city of Houston REALLY wants their NFL football team to be something worthy of being proud of, especially after 50 years of seeing the Cowboys get an unbelievable amount coverage and success.

Can you imagine the level of support they would get if they were competent?.... or God forbid, win a SUPER BOWL?

As it is, Grandpa McNair gets to trot out as some sort of faux savior of football in Houston.

Savage or Osweiler will play just good enough to convince the Texans brain trust to not draft a QB.
