    First

    Rockets win.

Harden shows Lillard who is boss. I remember the times Harden used to drop 40+ regularly against the Blazers. ANother 40+ game tonight hopefully

It's gonna be a tight game. We need Harden and Anderson to play at a high level. I hope Bev will take some ball handling pressure off of Harden. Go Houston Rockets!

Blazers have been very bad lately. Trap game for the good guys. Need Ryno to create that space tonight.

I actually really like it when Harden goes with his triple doubles and let the other guys score. Another game with 7 players in double figures will impress me more than Harden's 40+ point game.

Here's to hoping Harden plays with grit and is aggressive the whole game, even if things aren't going his way.

The problem with this is this is often not the case. Our secondary scorers aren't consistent enough.

Having said that...the Blazers defense is bad. We should be fine offensively. Defense will decide this game.

This is one of those games, that the team needs to win, a game against a team fighting for the playoffs that is below them in talent.

Rockets need to start beating these teams consistently.

I get what you're saying but strongly disagree.
It's not just against the Blazers it's the whole team attitude that will change if everyone will get involved.
We don't need Harden to be a monster every night, we definitely have 4-5 other guys that can score 10+ points each game with ease. This is what we should be aiming at, not a grand whole MVP campaign.

Well...they can, but mostly because of Harden's ability to set them up for scoring opportunities. Gordon is the only other player who can consistently create for himself.

I agree that it's important for the role players to get involved offensively, but Harden's the one that gets them going. It's no surprise that the offense falls off a cliff every time Harden's on the bench.

That's for sure. Harden's the man. It all goes through him. He's still my MVP when he gets everyone involved and make an effort on D.
He can still score when he wants to, all I'm saying that he shouldn't think he needs to get 40 points in order for us to win. That's not a healthy team mentality.
Not that it wouldn't be nice to see him putting on a show every once and a while ;)

    Well...

The Rockets offensive rating is 112.3 when Harden's on the court, and it's 96.2 when Harden's off the court...so...
