Pumphrey only had 53 yards today. Foreman should be the leading contender for the Doak Walker award and 1st team All-American
I always want to see my team play, but they don't deserve a bowl game. So much talent wasted this year.
Herman has already contacted Jarrett Stidham. That would get interesting reactions from both Baylor and A&M.
Buck, you've never said anything intelligent during a debate. And appears you're trying to maintain your streak. http://www.cbssports.com/college-fo...s-top-100-college-football-teams-of-all-time/ http://www.cheatsheet.com/sports/greatest-college-football-programs.html/?a=viewall http://collegefootballnews.com/2016/ap-college-football-rankings-greatest-programs-of-all-time http://www.thetoptens.com/greatest-college-football-programs/ http://www.tiptop25.com/topcolleges_ap_poll_era.html Spoiler
No point in arguing facts with people who can't accept them. Hopefully Texas dominates BETTER in the years to come. Go Horns!!
Press conference at 5pm. Sources told ESPN.com that Houston offensive line coach Derek Warehime will join new Texas coach Tom Herman's staff in Austin. Warehime spent two seasons at Houston, both under Herman, and was at New Mexico and Sam Houston State before that. Warehime first crossed paths with Herman at Rice University in 2007. A few more names that will join Texas' coaching staff under new head coach Tom Herman: Sources confirmed to ESPN.com that Fernando Lovo, who was Houston's director of football operations, is joining Herman at Texas. Strength coach Yancy McKnight and the rest of Houston football strength staff will follow Herman also, according to sources. Lovo and McKnight were both on Herman's staff at Houston the last two years; Lovo was previously at Ohio State with Herman, McKnight was previously at Iowa State where Herman was an assistant in 2009-11 and also worked with Herman at Rice.
I wonder if Kyle Allen will come to Texas. He can apparently transfer without sitting out another year since he's graduating. I think that means he has 2 years of eligibility left. A new OC would mean a fresh competition between Buschelle, Ehlinger and possibly Allen starting in January. Ehlinger has the size you want in a QB and you hope he redshirts. One good thing is that Strong left behind a lot of talented redshirt freshmen that will fill a lot of your needs in next year's recruiting class. All eyes will be on the offensive and defensive linemen from Houston IIRC. They are two of the top players in the state. It's not a huge deal if we can't pick them up since the lines were the deepest recruiting pickups in last years class. We have Baylor's two OLmen who redshirted to go with two great sophomores. They need to get started asap on LBs and find the best kicker and pay him anything he wants to get here. Charlie's tenure was plagued by kicking problems. Foreman is going to the NFL and I don't buy the idea he would have stayed another year if Charlie stayed. It's extremely unlikely that he could do as well next year as he did this year especially since Earl Warren will be back. He and Porter should give UT a good running game but unfortunately Warren won't get a medical redshirt this year so he will be listed as a true Junior.
Rumor is Jarrett Stidham reached out to Texas. He was the 2nd ranked Dual Threat QB that transferred out of Baylor. Went JUCO route so can play right away with 3 years of eligibility left. Would welcome either thought. Crazy how Strong was one injury away from being right back to year 1 without the defense. Even if he stayed, we would've had a true freshman backing up a sophomore. Gotta have depth.

^^ Beat me to it. Not all that surprising but not a lot of experience on those resumes either. Guessing he may have to wait until after bowl season to name his coordinators, especially if they're a HC candidate like Orlando.
Woah just read that Aranda is in play for DC. That would a ridiculous hire. Not holding my breath though.
Can we all post our sources? I'm sure most of us don't have inside connections. It's usually from different websites. Isn't this a requirement in the GARM? EDIT: I assume this is the source: http://247sports.com/Article/Dave-A...n-LSU-and-Texas-Todd-Orlando-up-for--49331268
