This is a pretty fun but speculative article. I wasn't sold on Charlie's staff from day 1 but I feel like Herman can put something that's better on paper. That'd be pretty wild to go into a bowl with a makeshift staff and a coach who had only been there a few weeks. I bet the SEC would put A&M against us in the Texas Bowl, knowing that there's no way we would be prepared. If Herman can get his staff and begin recruiting immediately, then maybe there's time to practice for a bowl. Otherwise, too many distractions.

I'm probably the only LonghornFan to actually say this, but I'm not as thrilled to have Herman as most are. I think he came out looking like an extreme douche the way he left. Yes the Texas brass should have given Charlie the boot last week, but they could **** up a wet dream. I'm hopeful, I'm praying they'll be relevant again soon, but imo the guy, his agents leaks about LSU, his interview before the Memphis game... Just strong vibes of total arrogance. It's what we're known for though so he's doing pretty good so far in the area.
