Dang. Not surprised, I'm just happy in the down rebuilding year TCU was able to win the turkey (post) game vs the Longhorns. Even when ya'll are down.....it's still one of those feel good wins.

Going to be even better when the teams turn it back around.

The proof that Gary Patterson is a good coach is in the fact that y'all went 6-5 with Kenny Hill at QB. That guy is trash.

I'm glad that there will be no controversy over firing Strong.

Yea, they would have to lose next week and miss out on the playoffs. I think a coach would leave early if they were just in a NY6 bowl though. I can't imagine why he would be interested regardless.

If Dabo is realistic, that would be who'd be at the top of my list for coaches for UT.

Dabo would be a great hire but there's little reason to think he'd even want the job... he's done a pretty masterful job at Clemson and strikes me as one of the few coaches who wouldn't leave his players.

Could it really be anyone other than Herman at this point? I won't put it past the powers that be to screw it up but he's such a natural fit and with no real established name types out there probably Texas' best option.

Lol. Always funny when someone responds "who cares" when they have no point.

Horns underachieve on the field, period... end of discussion.

    "who cares"...... "leave"

    LOL

Don't blame the messenger..... unless you're too emotional to see straight.

    Apologize to Hakeem, not me.

You can't win knocking UH, Tinman.. and the fact you seem to be born and raised here makes it even more silly.

I didn't attend either school, and rep the Horns hard. Just saying, their ass needs to do better... ONE title last 40 years proves that.

Hopefully they find a GREAT coach(es) and ball hard next 40 years.

Just because you're born and raised in Houston doesn't mean you have to like UH. UH sure as hell doesn't represent the entirety of the city of Houston, that's for sure.

Everybody has free will. Some locals chose to be Cow fans.

UH is more Houston, than UT is Houston... so yeah, Coogs sure as hell rep harder here.

There are way more Texas fans than Coog fans in Houston. Not even close.
