I feel sorry for the Kings fans. They managed to save their team from moving and they are very loyal and fill the arena even with a lottery team for years, and hate the Lakers. And instead now they have to suffer through a bad managment, a clown owner and a b****y whiny diva superstar. Everyone makes jokes about their team. That's the team I feel the most sorry about and wish the best because they deserve better. Minny? NOP? Wizards? They don't have great fanbases. My sympathy is for the fans not for the players and the rich owners.
Magic. Poor Magic still haven't recovered from Dwightmare. Wizards. Nets. Thanks Billy King. Pelicans. Team stays constantly injured.
OKC fans (not OKC organisation). They had KD, Westbrook and Harden. Now tell me they wouldn't have won a championship with those 3 by now! And they managed to get SFA back for KD and Harden. I'd feel robbed of what could've been, had their FO managed to keep those 3 together. (I think that lineup could've been better than the current GSW super team)!
I feel bad for the Knicks. That team has been irrelevant for a very long time and I don't anticipate them ever being good so long as James Dolan is owner. Phil Jackson can't save them because James Dolan is the kind of man that believes he is ALWAYS the smartest person in the room. Those of us who complain about Les should be thankful every day that James Dolan isn't our owner.
'Fans' I feel sorry for - Kings (sucked forever, screwed by Lakers and refs) 76ers (recently, have sucked historically) Nuggets (not much to say here) Pelicans (superstar on the worst roster) Suns (screwed out of recent playoff success by Spurs, refs) Wizards (even the team name has gotten worse) Grizzlies (great small-market underdogs; will never get over the hump) Timberwolves (most forgettable NBA franchise?) Magic (Denver Nuggets: Eastern edition) Rockets (20 years of injuries and paper tigers) Bucks (most forgettable NBA franchise, pt 2?) Hawks ('decent' team that can't even get out of a weak conference) Raptors (see: Hawks) Nets: (always been 'little step brother' to the Knicks and Celtics in the Northeast) Didn't make my list: Bulls (they'll always have the GOAT / golden age as a crutch) Jazz (no love lost here) Knicks (like LA, the average NY fan is extremely entitled, due to the size of their market) The NBA is typically a very top-heavy league.. one of the things I hate about it. It might be another 20 years before any teams on this list even get a Cinderella run.
