Told that for the first time this season the Rockets could be whole with Pat Beverley back this week, likely Thursday against the Portland Trail Blazers, Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni corrected with a reference to unsigned free agent Donatas Motiejunas.

"Almost," D'Antoni said. "We still have Motiejunas out there. I think we'll have to pick him up in Canada somewhere."

Motiejunas might not be considered on the team, having refused to accept the Rockets offer worth $7 million in the first season. He has remained training in Vancouver. A person with knowledge of the situation said Monday there have been no negotiations or ongoing talks and no changes in the Rockets' long-standing offer.

D'antoni is sticking up for Dmo , while at the same time putting pressure on him and Morey to sign . I'm ok with this .

We are about to start a stretch against teams with legit centers . Capela played well last night ; but Adams , Gobert are much more experienced and are better than embiid right now .

The front lines of the western conference are no joke and having Dmo back to bolster our options would be really nice right about now

 

Yep, we need someone that can legit score on them boys from the C position.

 

And not just score . The west has a lot of beef . We need someone who can be at least somewhat psychical with them if nene or Clint is off or has foul trouble . Ryan can't do it . I think Harrell is also too small
