The longer this goes on, the less leverage DMo seems to have. He had some leverage at the start of the season before we knew what kind of players Capela, Dekker and Harrell could be. But now that we know those guys are solid young players with potential and that this team can win without him, he really has no leg to stand in and no position to bargain from. The only reason you cave if you're Morey is if the Rockets sustain a serious injury in the front court. But until that happens, he has no reason to give DMo what he wants. And I don't think Rockets fans are going to lose any sleep over it. Either sign the deal or quit posturing and move on, dude.

Let's just say that if Harden wanted him back, it would have happened by now.

I wonder who Dmo's best friend on the Rox is.

That was a very reasonable take and some pretty nice soundbites from D'Antoni.

I think Motiejunas could likely be done here though.

So 33 pages here plus another 45 or so in the other thread from the "insider source" plus countless other posts interspersed in the various threads about DMo signing (or not) - so much drama for little return

Someone should create a netflix sitcom out of all this back and forth nonsense

I think he's waiting for an injury, which is pissing me off.

There's no business angle for him here.

    So, to recap today's events.

    1. DMo refused to sign by the deadline which would have allowed him to be traded this year.
    2. Morey pulled the offer.

Where do they go from here? I mean I guess the Rockets could offer him a lowball 1 year deal, or Dmo could go out and get like 3 years at 5-6m each and see if the Rox would match....what this does do is open up other teams abilities to give him a lower than 7m a year deal and maybe he wants more guaranteed money?

Heck this is harder to read than sanskrit.

All D-Mo has to do is field another offer from another team and we would have a solution by now. Why is his moronic agent not getting leverage?

Because he is a moron... OR...

Because basketballholic has been right all along, against all odds and reason.

You think I'm joking? Donald Trump just got elected president. Anything is possible now.

What's with these conspiracy theorists that is Harden's decision that he doesn't want DMO back? Idiots!

Divac has undertable agreement with DMo. We'll see after 2017 March.

IMO he has more followers on this board than friends in the locker room.
