Doesn't take a genius to see that Noel and Cousins will be moving...

Bean town Giant....name is like his team. Crowder / Chowder? (Not that a small forward is necessarily a "giant".)

Brook Lopez from Brooklyn? Don't know if we're digging on Frankenfoot, but who knows?

Seems to me the Boogie shoe has to drop one way or the other before we'll make a move elsewhere. God knows that team has a ton of bigs we could use for our roster, but he's the prize.

So, gonna see Nene? A "late Thanksgiving"? The Rockets don't hit Phoenix until December 21st. That would be more of an early Christmas.

Am I missing something? Teams are willingly to trade for Anderson with that contract?

15-20 mill is role player money now.

    Deng
    Turner
    Crabbe
    Mahinmi
    Noah
    Mozgof
    Bazemore
    Smith

for example, are are newly signed role players making between 15-20 mill. Plus the cap is going up by 50% again this off season.

I am horrible at decoding these things but if Cousins is moved Clint has to be included without a doubt wouldn't you think? Unless there's a 3 team trade I suppose. Either way Clint being moved isn't a deal breaker for me but he's getting better daily, cheaper and his chemistry with Harden is great. Can't promise cousins would gel the same... and Clint has the better attitude as well.

Is this for real? So the new cap will be how much, 135 millions?

Clint is going NOWHERE. Harden will never allow it.

Ariza will be traded before Capella will. Along with Brewer and Ennis.

I sort of agree on this but then again 15M is different from 20M. It would be different if Anderson has been killing it but he's having career lows across the board and now even his 3 pt shooting has deserted him. If we exchanged Anderson with any of the role players mentioned in this post and just rolled withAriza/Dekker at PF this team would've been way better as an example. So we need to see until how long Anderson's slump extends too but if he keeps producing like this I think Brewer is actually way more tradable than him at this point.

Honestly I think our core is Harden, Gordon, Ariza, Beverly and Capella. I would be extremely disappointed if we traded one of those guys ESP the way we've been gelling

Same here, but if we want to trade for a top player we have to sacrifice something good, there's no shortcut here, in fact, i think we'll be kinda lucky if we can trade for a superstar with the assets we have right now, especially for a guy not expiring.

Agreed. Capella is Harden's assist machine. He is not going anywhere. I seriously doubt we see Cousins. It would take Anderson for sure from a $$ stand point. Didnt Gordon sign here because Anderson did? How would that work chemistry wise? When can Anderson be moved? 12/15? Sadly wouldn't sac have to include someone else with boogie in order to match andersons outgoing? ha

I honestly don't think we have the locker room leadership to handle Cousins. And that's not a knock on Harden and MDA, I think Cousins needs to go to the school of Riley, Popovich, Rivers, Thibs.

I believe Milsap has a player option so...he might be a rental but he is the most ideal fit.

Brook Lopez is a highly skilled player but he can't catch a lob or shoot the three. He would clog the lane in my opinion unless we use him to anchor the 2nd unit.

I would like to see how DMO fits before we make a move

If you think you can snag Cousins with Ariza, Brewer and Ennis
You're not getting Cousins with those guys. If your Sac and it's a two team deal, who do you think they're asking for?

Why does anyone want to trade Anderson right now? His purpose was to spread the floor for Harden. He's doing that. You absolutely can't leave him on the perimeter. He's a part of Harden's greatness thus far this season.

Well probably because he is laughably overpaid for someone who arguably isn't a starting caliber PF. According to RPM, he's the 32nd best PF in the league but he's the 8th highest paid PF in the NBA this season.

Sure his 3 point shooting is great, but the problem is that he offers nothing else outside of shooting on an NBA court. That's tying up a hell of a lot of cap space for a 3 point shooting specialist. Either way though, it doesn't matter, no one would trade for him.

Well... when we have idiots who feel like like you could replace him with Ariza at the 4 spot for just as good if not better results...

RPM inherently diminishes the complementary effect he has on Harden's game. Not that it's a completely worthless metric, but I don't think it captures the value of a guy like Anderson.

The problem is that ANY 3 point specialist would give you that spacing, so really what's the difference between Ryan Anderson for 18 mil a year and someone like Wiltjer who is a rookie? Sure, there's a difference, but not 18 million dollars worth of difference.
