One of his knacks is that he always finds ways to get past the sticks...There really isnt any room for doubt...The closeness of both plays allowed for the refs to alter the game. Foster wouldnt have left doubt of a 1st down.
I've never been so ****ing mad after a loss. The Texans won that game, but the officials saw to it that they didn't get the W. Just absolutely blatant screw job and nobody outside of Houston will give a damn. So pissed off right now. Even with them getting bent over by the refs, BOB screwed up by not challenging on 3rd when Lamar clearly got the first. Then I think he was wrong for not going for it at the end on 4th and 4. But by then it was clear the fix was in and there was no way we were winning that game. This is one of the rare times I don't blame my team for the loss. They did enough and should have won if it was called legit.
There is no way that would have iced the game. Once the Raiders scrapped the run game, they totally dominated this defense.
Again great defense don't blow a scheme like that to any player let alone a fullback but the Refs were just special. And BOB was at his absolute worst in the fourth QT. Sucks because the Texans and Brock did just everything you needed them to do to win.
I'm sick of Houston teams being disrespected. I will gloat 24/7 for years when the city of Houston gets another championship. Hopefully sooner rather than later
On the plus side, who knew Texans fandom would graduate to the "refs fixed the game!!" stage. I think that's when you truly do care a ton about a team. You then have an irrational mindset that every ref is out to screw them.
The Texans let one slip away...that TD to Cooper and to that RB should never have happened. Terrible coverage...Hal whiffed his assignment. And having Mckinney out in coverage??
Actually go look on Facebook. For the first time ever all the news media sites are getting flooded with people talking about this major screw job. All the sites are reporting "look out for 8-2 raiders" "raiders are no joke" but the people know what's up...and nobody likes the Texans so you know it's real
Why didn't he challenge on 3rd down? No one has a ****ing clue. But had he challenged on third down and failed, The Texans still had one more chance to decide what to do with the next play. Going for it on 4th down and letting the refs make decisions? That's just ****ing r****ded. Never allow the refs to make decisions for you.
not all refs, only that near side lineman. the way he called the game he clearly had the raiders minus 6.
Partly because in a prime time game...They actually showed up and dominated 3.5 quarters of the game...The Texans were dominating the Raiders. And those cucked zebras took over the fcking game.
He challenged the 3rd down play??? And I thought the 4th down play was challenged by the booth? BoB didn't challenge **** from what I recall
I've never been that guy and get tired of fans that resort to that. But this was so over the top it was unreal. Even Gruden was saying we clearly got those first downs. I've never seen something so blatant to make me resort to being blame the refs guy, but this was impossible to miss.
I'm reaching my limit of exasperation with BOB's in-game decisions. I didn't think anyone could be worse than Kubiak at time management and challenges, but here we are. Never attribute to malice what can be explained by incompetence.
