LOL, Rockets fans come up with these kind of new stats that NBA fail to recognize

Best floor spacer in the case of Rhyno

Best boxer out in the case of DMo

Best hustle plays in the case of Brewer

    etc

after looing at the fa options this summer, it looks like the best players that would go to houston are ryan and eg. in that . if thats true then i wonder what they're options were if they signed eg then 2-3 good role players with that 20m. a cheaper scoring pf. then trade w/e excess players they have for best offers. they barely have any cap room next summer. yikes, this team is in for some ****.

i dunno if anyone will take on a 20m spot up shooter for 3-4 years but if eg stays healthy he can be a huge trade piece in th esummer. him, brewer and some filler should get us a good 2-3 option who can do more than just score.

Well, players like Leuer and Teletovic got something like 10/11m x year, and they've similar body and skills, but they've never had the same role in a team in their career (which is something to consider) so, i'm not sure they would've been better even if cheaper for us...i mean, i'm not a fan of Ryan, but i do think there may be a chance to trade him since it seems like he's considered at least one of the best stretch fours in the league (if not one of the very best), the other two guys are just considered decent 15/20 minutes players (even though Leuer is actually player pretty well for the Pistons, not shooting as well as Ryan though) so, it would've been a lot harder to trade one of them, at least that's what i think. Anderson is making 18.5m this season, which is not good (imo), but it will be ok in one or two years, even if it's going to rise by a couple of million.

If the Rockets just wanted a floor spacer they could have brought in Matt Bonner for get min. Or trade for Novak or find a three that can shoot and drive and go small...or let Wiltjer just shoot...

If they don't care about rebounding or defense or passing they could have just brought Troy Daniels in and let him play pf.

I don't even know what to say to the idea that Ariza and Anderson are the same type of shooter my goodness.

Anderson is having a down year across the board except 3pt%, we will need to wait a little bit longer to get a better handle on how Anderson will do.

i mena eg being a good trade piece if he stays healthy. might as well just stick with ryan and hope he has his best years in mda's system.
at worse he'll be a super 6th man

    for fun

    capela/ nene
    marvin or deng/ harrel
ariza/ wes or dudley or jj. has to be sf so minutes from kj and eg aren't taken.
    harden/ kj
    bev/ eg or eg/bev

right wes or dud to 1-2 year deals, give marvin w/e length for around 10m per. the rest to extend harden. keep mda as coach
then next summer get busy with trades.

Wish we went for Williams or Barnes.

Anderson hasn't been horrible but the money could have been spent better.

People shouldn't judge so harshley right now, Anderson will get hot again. Its a boom and bust with guys like him. I bet he'll average 14 and 6 this season, wity over 2 made threes per game on over 38%, which is exactly what he was brought in for.

We all know what Anderson brings: 3pt shooting, space for Harden, no defense , no rebounds. That is not he problem. He is an exelent shooter and I have nothing agains him.

    The problem is his contract!
What he brings is very poor for 20 million (4 years contract)
Ariza brings more for 8 millions (ok old contract) 8M are 12M now. still cheap
I like what Gordon brings for 13,5M

I will be ok with Anderson contract around the 12M, but 20M is a steal for him

Who cares what type of shooter they are, at the end of the day we care about results. You know what Anderson brought to the table before, but just like with Ty Lawson rather than focusing on what he did before u need to look at what he is doing now, and Andersons bad performance the last 3 games aint gonna cut it. Since his last good shooting game Anderson's 3p has dropped from 42 which is elite to just 39 which just 1 better than Ariza. For that one % I'd rather Ariza or Dekker at the 4 spot because they can run and score in transition which translates to more pts than slow foot Anderson, not to mention better defense and rebounding than Anderson.

    Anderson's main positives

Streaky but overall elite 3 ballshooter with range to several feet beyond the arc.
This allows Harden optimal spacing to prevent the second big from deciding to help in the paint when James drives becuase he has to stick with Ryno. This makes Capellas man decide whether he should stop the floater or the oop. Thats partly why you see so many Clint-Harden oops. Also, the Harden/Ryno pick & roll you will never see the double on James anymore because teams got burned early in the season when Harden would do the behind the back pass for an open three, so essentially taking away one less option on the P&R defensive coverage. Many other secondary effects to the threat of a shooter. Also knockdown from the stripe as in close situations, he would be money from the line.

Ryan makes a lot, no doubt.

But, remember, this roster isn't complete.

Early Thanksgiving Ears still talk about a few unhappy birds, a log jam in SacTown (Boogie) and a vet and young'in in PHX.

Just what I hear after last game. James wants more help in the post, especially rebounding and toughness. Ne feels alone out there at times.

It's early. Be patient, and I promise you Corey Brewer won't be here much longer.

    Cod.

PS....yes I'm aware of my TIPJAR wager. I just need to make sure it's anonymous as to not blow my cover. :)

So, Anderson is in the pack to get millsap? cousins?
A trade with Atlanta has legs. their can pair Dwight with Anderson and we get Millsap expiring.
