Athletes/rappers/entertainers have posses/crews/cliques? who would have thunk? lol

    Drake, Mayweather, Lil wayne.

    type this in google.

    Justin Bieber posse
    Pacquiao posse

Before you say you get hits of "pacquiao entourage", type LeBron entourage in google.

One could argue those players didn't win anything until they were coached by PJ, except for Rodman.

It's basically like the post in the GARM complianing about the "urban" experience...or When analysts refer to certain players as "knuckleheads"

No he isn't. It was the 2nd time Jackson has used that terminology to take a shot at LeBron and his associates. The first time was in his book.

How is LeBron reaching or being sensitive when a man has taken a 2nd dig at him, with the same terminology he used the 1st time? You may not know of the digs, which were years apart, but he and his friends do.

I don't see how anyone can knock LeBron if they know the full story and history. Jackson is on record, in his published (and edited) book on how he uses that term in reference to LeBron and his associates. No. it's not racist but it's clearly negative in the manner that he's using it.

Or when black athletes were the only ones being referred to as thugs.

Nobody has denied that Phil Jackson is taking shots at LeBron. The majority believe that the comment wasn't racist.

If you read the quotes, it's more like a jab to Lebron than his crew. He is saying Lebron gets babied by his managers/assistants who do everything for him since he was 19 and will never grow up and be mature and independent.

Jackson's basically saying the Posse is more useful than Lebron

Lebron was right to be offended at what he said. Pulling the race card there was weak AF though.

It may have had a negative tone to it, but Lebron is a grown ass man. He should stick to doing what he does and leave the rabble-rousing(?) to the politicians.

There is so much to lose if they enable that atmosphere of telling minority athletes to shut up and play. Same **** happened when Jeremy Lin spoke up about low key racism of Asians. Kaepernick got crucified, and now LeBron is getting lambasted as well.

There is always a vocal group of people that will shout as loudly as they can that racism is dead, racism doesn't exist, etc. I have no idea why people are so desperate to avoid bringing up the discussion.

That being said in this specific instance the word POSSE is not a racist term; but that is not the point.

Additionally, Phil went incredibly low when he brought LeBron's mom into this. You just don't do that.

There's got to be a better word than "clique."
