79 of the 119 anti-Trump protesters arrested in Portland last week likely didn't vote

No, they are clearly protesting Trump's win. You think they would be protesting if Hillary won?

I think Donny's point is that it's kind of hypocritical to protest the results of an election that your side lost because of low voter turnout......when you didn't even vote. You're essentially protesting against yourself.

Any evidence yet that these people were paid to protest?

Voter turnout wasn't low, and particularly in Oregon it wasn't.

Let's say there are 5 million lefties in the Midwest marching the streets in protest of Trump's election. And none of them voted in the general. They could have easily handed the election to Clinton if they had. Does that obviate their right to protest, or make them hypocrites? In my mind, not at all. Their vote is their right to exercise how they see fit, including by withholding it -- much like our freedom of religion also includes our freedom from religion. Likewise with their free speech rights. You say people must exercise their rights in this prescribed way: they may speak freely but they have to exercise their voice at the ballot box. That's not freedom. That might even be political correctness ( ). Even if they don't want Trump they might not like casting a vote for Clinton. Maybe they think our electoral process is a sham and don't want to be party to it. Maybe they feel they'd be complicit in worldwide atrocities if they cast a vote in favor of a president who authorized them. Maybe they just messed up. It doesn't really matter because it's their right to choose. They can vote or not vote; they can protest or not protest. Feel free to not respect them and to say so. But, I don't see any merit in the argument.

Yeah, they're pretty much the same assholes that tore up Seattle during the WTO years ago, this just gave them another excuse.

Pacific NW lefties are the bizarro Penn/OhioTuckian Trumpers.

    C) It makes them dumbshit ****ing morons who probably protest for the reason of skipping work and feel disruptive rather than taking part in a process that would've worked in their favor.
