Maybe Donald should go to Dubai. Seems like his kind of place. He can grab women by the p***y with no problem.

That's just how people in backwards ass countries like that are. That story is no worse than the young boy that was raped there who had a warrant issued for his arrest on homosexuality charges. I can't imagine why anyone would want to travel to damn near anywhere in the middle east knowing what kinds of BS goes on there.

That happens in Dubai all the time. Dubai has a lot of horror stories of women getting raped and getting jailed after reporting it to the police, of people spending years in jail after being accused of not honoring contracts while waiting for trial, of people being arrested for drinking alcohol etc. The police are really selective with how they implement the law, as well. They basically back off enough to keep the impression that it's a tolerant country to keep their vacation destination status afloat.

Now you see why Russia wants Assad to run Syria, these backwards assed countries and their religious based laws are a major problem, and Russia wants a buffer between it and the religious wack jobs running them.

Why are we letting stupidity gain power? People should be smarter than that.

You will not see a single muslim protesting this. The usual hush hush attitude, followed by a look the other way. That is why sexual deviance and oppression is deeply imbedded in muslim culture (even in supposed progressive nations), but people here will continue to ignore it because it doesn't fit the we-are-victims mentality.

Stop vacationing in Dubai. It'll teach them once the revenue from tourism dries up

"she said, she claimed" doesn't tell the whole story, the irony some of you find authority always right if it was a local issue

Charges have been dropped due to international pressure.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-38070191

Dubai rape claim woman's case dropped

A British woman, who was charged with having extra-marital sex in Dubai after reporting she was raped, has had all charges against her dropped.

The woman was arrested and had her passport confiscated after she claimed she was raped by two British men.

The Dubai Public Prosecutor's office said it had closed the case after "careful examination of all evidence".

It said investigations showed "the act happened with the consent of the three parties in question".

A video on one of the suspect's mobile phones was found to be "key evidence".

Officials said there would be no legal action and all three parties were in the process of receiving their passports and were free to leave the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The woman's father said he had received "conflicting stories" saying that his daughter had been released, but he said the Foreign Office had not confirmed anything yet.

The woman, in her 20s, reported the alleged rape at a police station in late October, a statement from the prosecutor's office said.

She was reported to have been holidaying in Dubai.

The two male suspects were also arrested, questioned and had their passports confiscated, but no charges were filed against them.

The campaign group, Detained in Dubai, said it was pleased with the decision.

"We expect that the international outrage that this case deserved, influenced authorities to drop the charges, in order to spare the UAE of such negative press.

"Others in the past have not been so fortunate but we hope that this landmarks a fresh approach to similar cases in the future."

The public prosecutor's office said Dubai's legal system takes reports of all crimes "very seriously, including and especially violence against women, and conducts thorough investigations of all incidents".

In Dubai all sex outside of marriage is illegal. If authorities become aware of a sexual relationship, those involved risk prosecution, imprisonment and/or fine and deportation.

Amazing. We do business with these countries. In the 1980's the US congress sanctioned South Africa over apartheid. How is it nobody decided to put sanctions on UAE or Salafi Arabia or - oh that's right: cheap oil.

I'm a muslim and i'm protesting this and I donated and voted for Trump. So your absolute
    argument is a fail.

You're painting with a very broad brush.

Sexual deviancy is embedded in all cultures and one can say the USA is a more puritannical
oppressed place than say Europe. Probably why our Politicians have to act like such family
men while the reality is that many are Anthony Weiner's and Wide Stance conservatives.

You're deciding the conclusion before you write an argument which is an irrational way
to think and speak though some of your points regarding the muslim world are quite valid
and muslims must be the ones to squash these elements within their own societies and not
    play the victim card.

Yeah... so the same idiots that support prison for extramarital sex are now saying is is consensual and we are to accept their "internal investigation" which conveniently happened after international pressure?

Also it is telling that you believe that she deserved to be prosecuted.

Ronald Reagan vetoed any sanctions against South Africa and actively supported CIA efforts to undermine and punish Nelson Mandela in the 1980's.

this seems like a genuinely complicated issue for you to understand .

She had consent sex with two guys ,the next day she accused them of rape.she should be prosecuted for defamation and slander ,intentional tort of malicious prosecution .Beside banning her from entering UAE
