James Harden is the best player in the NBA. One other all star and a bench will make this team title contenders solely because he have a superstar. Okc I greatly appreciate you guys.
CP3 this season Clippers are 10-1 4-th best point differential ever for 11 starting games (better than last year 73-9 GSW) League leader in PER 48.5% FG 47.3% 3PFG 91% FT League leader in steals AST/TO Rating 5 to 1 Net Rating 26.3 (Last Year Curry went unanimous mostly because of his sick net rating of ...18. He would win it because of 73-9 no matter what, but he went unanimous because he was the best player by far on the best team ever in regular season's history) Team with him for 100 possessions: 114 offensively - 87.7 defensively +/- : +16.7 Not Sure If Serious. Just a reminder: These Rockets are going nowhere with Harden or without him. First round exit at very best.
Because LAC is a better team with better players, not because CP3 is a better player. And Harden is league leader in Assists, Value Added, OBPM, OWS, and virtually top 3 in every major advanced statistical categories. Utterly stupid to use net rating to decide which one's a better player, you know who has better net rating than Harden, LeBron, KD, Curry, etc? Everyone on the LAC starting 5, including Luc Mbah a Moute and JJ Redick. Much better idea is to look at the On/Off margin (How much the team outscored their opponent per 100 possessions while a given player was on the court vs off the court), that way you could measure the true extent of his contribution to his team. On/Off Harden + 34.0 CP3 + 28.2 Westbrook + 25.3 15-16 Curry +22.2 BTW, the Clippers are only -1.4 with CP3 on the bench, while we are -22.5 without Harden. Go figure. Swap Harden and CP3's place, and let see how far Harden can go with two other all-stars and how well CP3 does with Eric Gordon & Ryan Anderson.
LOL How Harden can possibly be in CP3 place and play alongside 2 all-stars, if he's unable to co-exist with anybody of his (or close) level, because of his selfishness, off-court issues and horrible attitude? Harden was a cancer last year and those personal qualities are never going to change and even if they do (which is delusional), it's a longtime process, not a week, or month, or a year.
LMAO, tell that to Durant & Westbrook. OKC went to the NBA finals with the 'selfish' guy you're talking about. Daily reminder : CP3 has never advanced beyond 2nd round in the playoffs during his entire career. The guy is a perennial LOSER. You're just a Dwight apologist feeling all salty since Harden is playing like the BEST player in the league w/o Dwight right now. Everybody knows Dwight was the real cancer in the locker room last season, stop bit*hin' and go join the Hawks forum.
Yeah CP3 is the MVP so far Yeah, CP3 is the MVP so far. He has more help, but the MVP rewards teams that win. If the Rockets end up with a better record, Harden would be the favorite. Chris Paul's NetRating is actually +45
You fanboys are funny. Where were you throughout last 12-16 months? -Harden has claimed himself as the best player in the league and the guy who was robbed in MVP voting -Harden came into the season in horrible shape, while he was clubbing all summer with Khloe (according to Bob Voulgaris - who's living in LA - Harden was present almost at every big party around the city in summer of 2015) instead of working out like Curry did -Harden got his coach fired 11 games into the season. Obvious. He wanted him to get fired a year and half before that and he has pushed for it after POR series due to multiple reports -Harden has played selfishly throughout the season. -Harden became one of the most innefficient players in a clutch situations after being a league-best clutch performer -Harden has pushed Morey to trade Dwight at deadline? Yes -Harden has (magically) delivered a blatant eight place in injury plagued WCF and a brutal first-round exit vs Curry-less team, while that team was expected to compete for a Title before the season - Biggest free-agents on the open market - Durant, Horford, Whiteside, Gasol (I'm not talking Howard, Parsons, Conley who wouldn't fit) all weren't interested to come here and play with him despite a ton of cap space ... and on and on and on If somebody believes that a person who has showed that kind of attitude is not cancerous... Well. This is dumb. You and your ex are "exes" not only because she's a b****, both sides were wrong and put everything on Dwight is acting like a teenager. It's also dumb to believe that a man is going to change, especially after Les got involved and put Harden's interests before team's interest and Morey's interests. Now we have a team that has no cap space, no trade assets, no players that can reach a star level next to him and no chance to be even at WCF or at least get past the first round, because MDA, zero defense, Ryan Anderson and living or dying by the three are going to be exposed in the playoffs even if we the Rockets are going to get there, which is still under consideration. Harden has played two full seasons in a row now while leading the league in minutes. A minor injury for two weeks or so is almost inevitable, while this team is so horrible without him that we would finish any stretch without James on 0-6 or 1-5 record at very best and it's gonna hurt in any playoff push and I don't want to put a mark on a health standpoint for Pat, Gordon, Anderson, Nene...
Typical DOF delusion. Dwight gave up on this team last year because he didn't receive enough touches in the post. Dwight even said it himself, and Jason Terry has also confirmed it. So WTF are you talking about? Excert from a Article on ESPN http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15596878/dwight-howard-qa-superman-returns ESPN: You mentioned your season in Houston didn't end the way you wanted. You have also admitted you were "disinterested" during parts of the year. Why was that? Howard: "There were times I was disinterested because of situations that happened behind the scenes that really hurt me. It left me thinking, 'This is not what I signed up for.''' ESPN: What specifically are you referring to? Howard: "I felt like my role was being reduced. I went to [Rockets general manager] Daryl [Morey] and said, 'I want to be more involved.' Daryl said, 'No, we don't want you to be.' My response was, 'Why not? Why am I here?' It was shocking to me that it came from him instead of our coach. So I said to him, 'No disrespect to what you do, but you've never played the game. I've been in this game a long time. I know what it takes to be effective.''' Morey declined comment. If anything, it was the dynamic between Dwight & Morey that got toxic and out of hand which led to the bad chemistry last season. Harden had a bad start, but he eventually found his rhythm after 10 games or so. Also, did any one of those free agents went to the Pelicans to play with AD or to the Thunder with Westbrook? I guess that also makes them scrubs? Yeah, they chose GSW and the Spurs over us, big surprise. If Dwight wasn't so much of a egomaniacal bi*tch and just did what Capela does now with Harden, I guarantee you we would have done much better than just .500. Your pathetic attempt to deflect any blame directed towards Dwight makes me sick.
This is getting ridiculous. Warriors let Andrew Bogut decide where he wants to come Rockets or Mavs, and his choice was 38 years Dirk Nowitzki. Re-minder: Bogut is a great pick-n-roll finisher, he doesn't demand any shots and one of the best passers on a planet from center position. A perfect fit from system standpoint. I mean, what else do you need? I don't want to get involved in any speculations with a guys who's nickname starts with "Harden", it's just a waste of time. Harden has proved that he's completely irresponsible player. He was the as bad as Corey Brewer in Portland series, but he decided to point his finger on coach He was a true cancer last year and he decided to put his finger on Dwight and it would go on and on and on Harden is still very immature. If things are going well he's ready to receive all the hype and take all the credit, but once things are not going well, it's not his fault, it on everybody around, but not on him. That's a lack of leadership or fake-toughness if you will When Draymond committed his silly foul and was suspended in a Finals series he was man enough to stand put a say that it was on him. That's a leadership
You need reading comprehension skills. http://www.espn.com/blog/dallas/mav...gut-explains-why-he-chose-dallas-over-houston “I’m not saying Houston has a bad culture by any means, but my agent has a familiarity here,” said Bogut, whose agent, David Bauman, represented Peja Stojakovic, among others. “I’ve known a lot of players that have been pretty happy here when they were here. Richard Jefferson was one of them. And then the city -- I like the city, so it all made sense. “Rick Carlisle is also one of the best coaches in the league. He knows how to get the best out of his players. He’s very, very smart and makes great adjustments. He’s a guy you want to play for. Obviously, [Mike] D’Antoni is a pretty good coach, too, but probably not suited for my style of play. I would have probably had to drop about 20 pounds to play in his system. They play a tough system, get up and down the court.” Bogut mentions his agent's familiarity with Dallas, coach Rick Carlisle, and D'Antoni's system not really suiting his style of play. See any mention of Harden? Bogut is notorious for openly speaking his mind w/o any filter, if he had any problems with Harden you think he would have qualms about bringing it up? and who needs that washed-up slob anyway, Dallas sucks and let him just rot there.
According to Dwight only fan _RTM_ 's logic, Anthony Davis and Westbrook are also locker room cancers because no big name free agents chose to play with them over the Spurs or GSW. I mean, what else do you need, right?
