Doesn't matter if they have that kind of cap room. What matters if they will want to pay an excess of 8 mil per for DMo to be their 4th if not their 5th rotation big?

If they offer him more than 10 mil per in order to displace better players like Gallo, Jokic, Faried, Nurkic which would need to be traded to make room, they are a terribly run organization unless they are getting Klay Thompson in return in trade.

Looks like they waived Sotkes cause he's injured though, seems like they need guards now that Harris is out.

They don't need guards. They have plenty of everything.

'Reportedly' they've wanted to move on from Faried for some time. I like the guy, but is he worthwhile in DMA's world?

Mudiay, Murray and Barton and Nelson. It's a fine depth compared to almost every other team. The problem is that the youngs are too young and the roleplayers who are quality are too old for the core. Consolidation trade and figure out if Jokic can even play pf is what they should be aiming at.
The empty roster spot should help if any consolidation trade becomes available.

Yep, i guess i can agree with this. I just don't think waiving Stokes has something to do with a potential interest in D.Mo.

Agreed. Their young bigs can't even get enough minutes as is. Only as an additional asset on top of the plethora of assets they already have as a part of a future consolidation trade I can see DMO sign there. Or if they make a big trade and then they sign him to cover the hole. For example if they trade Gallinari + Faried somewhere. They are even richer than Boston in assets though.

Sounds like MDA really likes DMo and wants to use him. DMo seems to be missing out on a golden opportunity. If this scenario doesn't drive NBA players away from BJ Armstrong then I'm not sure if anything will.

Yeah i agree, i think they just have better young players than Boston overall.

(fantasy basketball time) What do you think about a potential deal for Cousins? Vlade should like Nurkic/Jokic...and wasn't Boogie playing pretty well under Malone? Not sure the Nuggets would be willing to take that risk since Cousins expires next year, but still...

Considering Kroenke it's possible however not sure because of the relationship of D'allessandro and Kings if it's that likely.
Phoenix and Denver as small markets that noone pays much attention to, are often overlooked in trade talks, however they both can make offers that are better than Boston's and they both have owners who are notoriously impatient.

It's not just Cousins. There are other possible targets in the near future. For example Wall and PG13.

Edit: If the problem with Jokic and Nurkic unable to coexist doesn't get solved it will lead to some big trade for sure though.

Dmo is better than Faried and Nurkic.

Maybe. He'd have to actually play NBA basketball at this point to prove it.

Nurkic is 4 years younger and has much more potential and by the end of the season when there's more games to go on he will most likely be better than DMO.

Better than Faried probably yes (if healty), better than Nurkic i really don't think so, nobody will pick D.Mo ahead of Nurkic as today...except you i guess? I'm a big fan of D.Mo, but Nurkic is a center with a big body, good skill on both sides of the court, still very young and with good potential.

Well I guess than it's a foregone conclusion then that DMo will get paid substantialy more than the Rox offer by Denver and will displace those two in the rotation.

I'll keep waiting to see when this happens.

First you guys say the deadline is 11/15 and now it's 11/23. Will you guys make up your minds about when Dmo is going to sign?!

Nuggets have one of the five worst front offices in the Association. Anything is possible with them.
