    We are

    shooting better
    FG% .465 vs .452
    3P% .372 vs .347
    2P% .537 vs .514
    FT% .739 vs .695

    Opponent percentage has been flat

Opponents have picked up less rebounds and assists, but have stolen the ball more from us..probably Hardens TOs, understandable.

The biggest difference in having Dwight on the floor was blocks, where we dropped about 10%

So are you saying we are on pace to continue the tradition of being the 3rd most winningest team in the regular season over the last 10 years?

Is this first 10 games vs all last year or first 10 games vs first 10 games last year?

Also, the 12th game, JBB's first game...is the game where Brewer hit the buzzer-beater 30 footer, which gave JBB a win in his first game as coach, cementing his luv foreva ...

Brewer parlayed that one shot into 25 mpg for the rest of year.

    [Educational Post]

First 3 games last year vs First 3 games this year

    3 - 20 point blowout L's last year where Rockets scored 85, 92 and 89 points and a 0-3 Record

2-1 Record this year with no blowout losses and Rockets scoring 114, 106 and 93

    That's the difference essentially.

I'm betting there were a dozen ppl (including Clutch) ready to start a thread on the 11-game comparison. @Amel knew what he was doing to beat everyone to the punch.

    [FACT CHECKER]

    Partially true

But you forget our last 4 losses were the start of our run of 20 Games Not Playing any Contenders.

This is what I personally was worried about last year.

    1) Rebounding: Resolved: Statistic the same. Eye test is that Capela is better than I thought he would be, but every rebound now is contested compared to last year. No worries. My concern was we would have no rebounding, but we have it. Nene and Capela doing well, Anderson no worse than Jones.
    2) Point Guard: Resolved. Assist statistic slightly down as a team. But Harden himself much better at +5. Solved with Harden at the Point. Eye test much improved. Can't fault Ennis for poor play because frankly the team around him can't shoot, so it's more about personnel. we still pass to guys in bad position, like giving Capela the ball at the FT line, or passing to an open Brewer expecting him to shoot or make a 3.
    3) Free Throw Shooting: Resolved. Statistic improved from 69% to 74%. Resolved for most part. No more hacking. But could be better.
    4) Turnovers: It's worse. We went from 15 to 17 a game. Still an issue as we are one of the worst in the league. And it seems like down the stretch we continue to struggle, although in general we've been in position to finish games with more latitude for mistakes.
    5) Length: Unresolved. We didn't get much taller or longer, although Ennis does give a little more of that. Anderson plays a little smaller than Jones or Donatas. So still an issue from a defensive standpoint and it seems like Gordon and Anderson struggle with lengthy defenders, which means we can't get shots when we want them. We have to earn them. We are too horizontal offensively and defensively, and need more vertical aptitude.

Overall: Much better off having resolved 3 of my major areas of concern. However, Turnovers and Length will likely be an issue in the playoffs, if not the regular season. I don't see any new problems other than the bench, which is terrible and ineffective. That can be resolved by simply adding some punch, but needs to be addressed. Ultimately, improving all these areas will not be enough to make a dent as we have limited firepower compared to the elite teams, so the question is, does it really matter.
