Protesting is one thing, but for something to be a protest and not a temper tantrum, there has to be legitimate cause. "Protesting" the fact that you didn't get your way isn't really protesting. If people want to make public their dissatisfaction with the outcome of the election, fine. I have no problem with that. I have a problem with blocking roads and destroying property simply because things didn't turn out they way you wanted them to.....and if things were the other way around, I'd say the same......in fact I'd be even more outspoken about it because honestly I expect this kind of childish BS from the left, if it came from the right it would be even more unacceptable.
Amateurs! Next time, be white, be men, carry guns, carry snacks, and occupy a federal building in Oregon. (Note: NOT Occupy a Federal Building, just occupy a federal building.)
That's why I never engaged in a debate and discussion with these lying morally bankrupt sack of shiet. Notice that he never answered the question "what happened if it was his child in that ambulance?".
Seriously: someone said some of those ratty protesters were looking in the ambulance windows, to loot it for opioids, when they saw the little stranded baby, and they were like "It's a Mexican! It's a Mexican!" And then they saw the baby's little brown head resting on a Koran--it said Koran right on it written in those shady type lettering--and then some SJW's got all premenstrual and were like "Block this illegal Mexican brown Muslim baby from penetrating our Lady Liberty one inch deeper!" But they kept trying to penetrate. And the SJWBLMers were like "No!" and the Mexican tribal unit in the ambulance was all "Yes!" And it went in and out in and out like that. And I was all "Trump!" 21st century man.
I'm not spinning anything. If you took that literally, you missed the whole point of your black and white 2D world. Seriously, just think about it carefully and you'll get it.
Trump is very much a legitimate cause for protest. I mean, we are talking about a guy that said he would suppress the press and order torture beyond recognition. Last time I looked, both of those are illegal in the USA. And I'm sure there are other examples. As I said, peaceful protest is all good and dandy. Violence or property damage is not.
They block the road to cause harm to the child. Why is that so difficult to not understand? Or, you know, they were protesting Trump, in maybe their foolish attempt for a better America?
The outcome of a fair election is not cause to protest no matter who won. Now if Trump actually suppresses the press or orders torture, then there's plenty of legitimate cause for protest.....but none of that has happened. He hasn't even done anything to work towards doing either of those things.
The outcome is not the cause. Trump is. If Bush Jr came back and win in the exact same #, there wouldn't be protest. Trump said he would do those things and so why would people not believe him? I'm of the opinion of wait and see. Others took his words and believe them and so...protest. I fully hope they are wrong. If not, I might be joining them. He did kick out some press because he didn't like how they wrote about him.
Again though, he hasn't actually done anything worth protesting, so until he does or until he attempts to do those things, there's no legitimate reason to protest. Right now, it's just a temper tantrum by children who are upset that they lost. IMO they'd be just as upset no matter who their candidate got beat by. The longer they keep it up, the less people will take them seriously.
I would probably agree that is the best approach. But I understand why they feel like protesting now and their protest, as long as it stay peaceful doesn't bother me an inch. Looks, if Trump actually turn out great as a President (cause we know how he was as a candidate), they are seen as fools jumping to conclusion. And if he turn out what he said he would or worse, they won't be.
