Negan is an *******...just to prove he is in control. Thats the way he is in the comic. Negan is not The Governor. Negan is much worse with no redeeming qualities. The Governor tried to be a leader of a community and protect his people. Negan doesnt care about anyone but himself. He does give a **** about his Saviors...they are tools to him.
First episode was that way too if you look past the suspense of who dies. Show has gotten way too slow. Why was that episode 90 minutes? Could have been 30 minutes.
Agree....shoot him and hope the Saviors don't rebel. It's not as if their is a strong vice president in waiting to take over the Saviors lol. Nor do any of the Saviors seem to like him. Just seems like they would all go about their merry ways.
so, are we just supposed to forget Maggie is deathly ill, and the group was on a mission to get her to a doctor. I guess they successfully snuck her to the Hill doctor, once the Saviors lowered their guard?
I think maybe only in his own mind. Regardless, you would have to be a pansy to be worried about his 120 lb ass. Neagan is physically intimidating and Dwight is nowhere close to that.

That's pretty damn risky. Many of the Savior thugs strike me as being hardcore criminals, or fundamentally the rape and pillage type. Negan is providing a level of stability to what otherwise would be random chaos. Power vacuum's are unpredictable, whereas Negan does what he says. Yes, Rick has shown he can outsmart the thugs of the world, and outgun them in skirmishes even, but not now. Seems killing Negan right in front of his gang would cause an immediately riot of murder, pillaging and rape. Now, killing him with a Tiger is a different story.
Love Negan's character.He's got Rick by the balls. Touching moment bringing up Shane last night. He was what had me watch the show And now Negan will do the same. I guess I'm a big fan of the wild card.
I dont understand why they didnt alter the gun inventory because it was known that he was going to come and take them all. They could have made it look like they didnt have 8-10 guns and just have them stashed, then be ready for an ambush on Negan and them.
Is there any reason in the world why they would let Michonne keep her samurai sword? It makes no sense to me.
Well they also arrived much earlier than they said they would. It seemed Rick had not even informed everyone of what was going on.
Because they are breaking down Rick to the lowest level he can possibly go to show he has truly given up at this point because they don't have the numbers to defeat Negan and his men. He doesn't want to lose one more person to Lucille. He's in such a bad place that he can't bare the thought of having another death on his conscience after what he witnessed with Abraham and Glenn. I assume they are breaking him down only to eventually build him back up later.
Yea...but remember his speech in the church. He wasn't going to do it anyway. Giving up the sniper rifle was a bit unexpected but maybe was done to just increase Negan's confidence that he has Rick on a leash all the way. Or, they would somehow find out about the sniper rifle and someone would die over it.
I don't think that's it. It would have been one of the first things they would have done when they returned if they were going to do it. You think they were just trusting Negan at his word that he would be by in a week? Rick's playing by Negan's rules until they can increase their odds of doing something later because, right now, he just sees it as hopeless.
