He seemed a little more subdued.

    Some key takeaways:

-We might be getting fence and not a wall.
-He doesn't plan to deport the illegals just the illegal criminals.
-He might not tweet as much.
-He won because of Twitter and Facebook.
-Backed out on the "Lock her up" thing
    -No decision of Connolly
    -Said he won't take vacations
    -Not taking the salary
-He was quiet when he thought he was going to win
-No plans on ISIS or he won't admit it
-Obamacare: going to keep preexisting conditions

    First Lady:
-Her Cause: Bullying - That is ironic given Trump is a bully.

Didn't see it but I also heard he said he wouldn't challenge gay marriage because it has been decided, but said he wants to challenge abortion? Doesn't seem to make much sense other than trying to placate the right wingers.

Yeah, the people who voted him. I think people are underestimating how conservative America actually is.

I think you are underestimating how liberal it is, given that more people you know...voted for Clinton.

Edit: I dare for him to challenge abortion strongly or gay rights. Have fun with the rowdy protests!

Not all of those that voted for Clinton are liberals and vice versa. The election results aren't a basis for America being liberal/conservative. I do believe it's more conservative than people think.

At the convention he already said that same sex couples deserve the same rights as heterosexual couples. He is pro life but is wants women to have the right to prove. All of these decisions shouldn't be a surprise. He has said them many months ago but the media wants to try and play it now as backtracking and pandering to people.

I don't expect him to challenge abortion or LGBT rights except by way of overturning any Obama executive orders or by affecting the Supreme Court docket.

If he impacts those issues it'll be by Supreme Court Appointments. His replacement for Scalia won't change those issues much since Scalia was conservative. But if another justice resigns or passes then those issues will certainly be in danger of being overturned.

Are you still of the opinion that ANYONE cares about protesters? I mean, I'd be completely against eroding gay rights or the right to kill future criminals before they are born, but seriously protesting makes almost no difference. It usually just makes those who are protesting look like fools.

Oh boy.. this is going to be a mess.

A liberal needs to some how penetrate his inner circle; you can tell he is easily influenced.

I'm glad I missed the interview. I don't believe anything Trump says. He's a pathological liar.

Well I agree, that's why I continue to say that just because Trump won doesn't mean that the country agrees with everything on the GOP policy plan. The country is more liberal or conservative depending on the issue.

I don't think he or the GOP has the balls to rip away rights that had been given....Although I'm sure some of them would love to.

Well that's what you think. A man like Gandhi or MLK would disagree. I think I'll side with them on the matter over Bobbythegreat.
