Hop just a waste of talent with that bum at qb. Didn't think it was possible to downgrade from Hoyer

What was that? If they weren't going to hail mary it to the endzone they should of at least went for the 55 yard FG

There's no hope in Brock. Can't see what Savage is made of unless Brock gets injured....

Brock isnt garbage. Hes the slimy, stinky, wet juice that leaks on your floor when you remove the garbage bag from the canister when youre ready to throw the garbage out.

if we aren't leading after the 3rd with the given opportunities to score on offense, we have to turn to savage...

brock's throws are really bad. i can't believe hoyer is more accurate than this dipshit

In fairness I prefer it end that way as to Brock dropping back to pass, waiting for the WR's to get down field and ending up with a sack fumble taken back for a TD because we have no O line.

Brock has the yips with the slightest bit of pressure.

Line has been thoughrouhly dominated today. They were very fortunate to get that run and score on the first drive.

Everyone freaking out on Brock over a bad play call with good coverage.

    SMH at the football knowledge.

Yeah, there was no chance for a Hail Mary there.

Jacksonville actually did what more teams should do in that situation. Bring pressure. Don't just rely on a prevent defense with extra backs.

Worst I've seen our line play in a couple seasons maybe. Pressure every drop back.

I think, correct me if I'm wrong here, we all expected a philosophy shift with the new coaches.

1st year it was well, this is still all the players kubiak wanted so it couldn't be too different.

Last year it was, well QB carousel but you're starting to see some of it. Even though it was pretty much the rely on 1 WR and run the wheels off RBs we've always seen.

Now it's Brock's 1st year in a complex system. Even though it just looks like a bunch of rookies trying to execute misguided plays.

The down and distance thing is driving me out of enjoying football anymore. 3rd down and 8, THROW for 4. I don't get it. Never will.

Kubiaks simple, predictable play action zone game was more enjoyable than this farce. They've no play action. They've no deep threats. They've no over the middle receivers. They just ran the wheels off their RB and they've managed to make deandre Hopkins look ordinary. What else? Oh yeah, they play for FGs and their kicker is a middling journeyman. Get the net.

I'm still pissed about the god awful pass to Hopkins that was behind him when it could have been an easy 1st... which then led to Novak missing another fg.

The thing I hate the most about the Texans offense is that they almost seem to be intentionally setting up 3rd and long situations time and time again. That's the worst thing ever for a team with no O line. They need more 6 yard passes to TE's or whatever on first or second down to ensure no 3rd and long situations.

I agree with you about the first two years, but this year is more about an offensive unit full of new players, more than anything.

The biggest shame is that we haven't seen the coaching staff impose their philosophy, to an extent.

That, time management, and the utter lack of balls by O'Brien at times. His first year, he had balls. He's lost them since.

I'd still like to see this offense with a tad bit more at full strength.

Their starting center, and more from their other WR's.

I'm surprised Hopkins has been as open as he has been today. Who else do the Texans have at receiver today? Fuller, Strong out.
