97% or something on rotten. For a SCI-FI movie, that's high praise. SCI-FI movies are always critical when it comes to reviews. Can't wait to see it. Haven't been blown away since EX-MACHINA!!!

Just saw it last night. I was impressed. Very subtle and well crafted piece of science fiction. High praises all around. Excellent background score and beautiful cinematography.

The time loop concept was truly masterfully executed. Louise's ability to see into the future in order to affect the present like phone call to the Chinese general was really a powerful moment. Perhaps, even better than a similar concept in Interstellar where the future communicates with the past thus creating a time loop

I'm gonna go see it next weekend. I know it's a different genre than Hacksaw Ridge, but if it's a better movie than that, then I will be really impressed.

That's what I am hoping for and what the trailers got me excited about.

It's awesome. I like sci fi. This is sci fi. Star wars is not sci fi. Tom cruise saves the universe movies are not sci fi.

Don't go in with your arms crossed saying "98% on rotten tomatoes? We will see about that" and pre judge the movie.

There are some spots where the film makers are saying "look how awesome we are at making a movie" but they are awesome at making a movie. The movie looked and sounded great. Surrounds are VERY active. If you are used to pink noise movies that always have the volume on 11, the dynamic range of this soundtrack will blow you away.

For those that have seen it, is it similar to the short story it is based upon?

Don't know about the short story, but
the movie which popped into my head at the ending was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

I really liked this movie. I thought it would have more action (first half hour's pacing is deliberately detailed) but it's an interesting thriller with a story that's intelligent.

Their motives deal with causality that reminds me of a different Sci-fi movie two years ago.

I thought it was terrific, though I wasn't a huge fan of the ending/twist. Didn't hate it, just didn't love it.

    8.5/10 for me

I enjoyed it, 7.5 /10. Good directing and acting. I thought the music and sound were a bit over the top. Ending was just OK.
