So let me get this straight. If I call sexist and misogynistic, a person who is disciminating against me because I'm a woman, who verbally abuses me and sexually harasses me then I am "kicking the dog long enough" and I "should expect a bite". As self defence!!

 

Well I have learned a lot these last two days. Apparently not only being a minority and non white exludes someone from being a racist and xenophobe but now also only lefties can be for equality of all humans.

I can't believe I find myself agreeing with Sam here, at least on the part about the jobs.

Those rust belt jobs aren't coming back. Manufacturing (in terms of employee count) has been on a steady decline since 2000. In 2008 Rust Belt swing states all voted Obama because, well Bush wasn't doing anything for them and their jobs shrunk by 25% from 2000-2008. Turns out the industry fell another 15% with Obama in charge. So here comes an "outsider", someone they see as a successful business man who's told them everything they want to hear on tariffs and foreign trade.

Well what have they got to lose by electing Trump?

Either 1. Trump sticks to his word, somehow not only keeps manufacturing jobs from slipping but builds up the industry again without as much automation.
Or 2. Trump is turns out to be a populist and doesn't deliver but hey, Republicans hate him based on their primary, Democrats hate him, Corporations seem to hate him... Well all those parties screwed us over in the past 15 years, having Trump as president will at least harm those entities in some way. And if a Trump presidency Americans as a whole? Well we've lost everything anyways. and we're too numb to care about those who Trump's character offends.

The racists and xenophobes chanting "Build that wall" weren't the ones who came out to win over the swing states. Trump will end up with around 60M votes, that's the exact same as McCain in 2008. Unless tens of millions of republicans actively stayed away from the polls and were replaced by all these silent racists coming out of the woodwork, it's still the despondent populist crowd.

In 4 years, when manufacturing sector jobs shrivel beneath 10,000, I believe we'll see a big drop in voter turnout from rust belt states. Nothing will have improved, and they'll come to grim realization that no person nor party can bring manufacturing jobs back.

 

Let just say that I play along with your accusations(perpetuated by the lying and corrupt media), they are just words. Your side however, encouraged civil disobedience, riots, mob action violence, assault and killing of law abiding citizens and even peace officers. This election is a referendum on your king and your ilk, my kind just grew weary and tired of the bullshiet for the past 8 years. How do you propose to "not take it anymore" and "defend" yourself from protestors?
